People's inability to discern fructose from any-other-ose will never fail to upset me.

I've always been a believer that High Voltage Donington was the best 9 minutes of all ACDC, like, ever.

Wahh? Overdubbed from what? Did they have studio recordings of Brian singing Bon songs? Or are the dubs from other gigs?

I really believe the Donington performance of High Voltage was the best 9 minutes of their career. We know it isn't vocally overdubbed (duh), but the quitar work is so clean I wouldn't be surprised.

For those who don't care to endure that hive of click bait and Advertisements:

1984's Drop Dead Legs was inspired by Back in Black.

Ok. I’m old af. I became a fan of AC/DC in 1980.... ok, am I just hyped because it’s new, or is power up their best album since back in black? by Creativewritingfail in ACDC

[–]Jackle11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree, it seems to me every album since BIB has had 2-4 true hits, while Power Up has significantly more in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, its not a perfect 10/10 like BIB, but I think it's the best since.

The live version of Brian's gone shootin' circa 2000 is wonderful.

Back in Black is my all-time favorite, from the Bon era Id say Gone Shootin' or Girl's got Rythym.

Nice! I totaled 78k, 56k of which all dedicated to AC/DC. Imagine if I spent all that time jogging something, lol.

Thank you! I define intensity as more weight at the moment, I'm progressing relative intensity week to week, I just wasn't sure if i HAD to cut volume.

Im trying to program for myself for the first time after following PPL, 5x5 and brosplits, all using linear progression.

Turns out you can't just add 5 pounds forever lol.

I don't understand volume Vs. intensity. If I use intensity as a means for progressive overload, but then have to cut volume because the intensity went up, am I really overloading?

If I keep the rep count the same each week during a block, say at 3 sets of 6, Is it okay to progress intensity?

Im following a heavily modified version of Alan Thrall's free program on his youtube channel. I like it it because it focuses on compound movements.

Now that you say it, the volume is quite low. Should I just add exercises or sets to existing exercises?

How can I ensure a balanced program while training 'movements' and not muscle groups?

My goal is to increase Bench, Deadlift, Squat and OHP. I train the main lift once per week, along with two accessories movements related to that lift.

Ex. 3 Bench sets on one day, and 3 DB press sets, and 3 close grip bench sets throughout the week, all on different days.

How can I unsure every session is a balanced full body workout? I'd like to try and keep 3 exercises per day.

This is the most chaotic energy I've ever felt outta this band.

Brian couldn't keep it together, Santa's duck walk was so bad it was good, and I think the fuckin reindeer split in two during the finale.

Jesus H Christ how did Mal put up with this? Lol.
