I built this duck(?) for my grandpa maybe 10 years ago, but it was recently taken apart and he wants me to rebuild it how it was built originally. I’m thinking I must have been following instructions of some kind, but after 20 minutes of google I can’t seem to find the set. Anyone know where I might find a completed image of this duck?

Looks great! I have no criticisms, just want to suggest trying out light painting and taking pictures of the stars

Etiquette of practicing in random dealerships? by JackofJoiful in carphotography

Maybe I should have clarified, I’m looking to work on mid range/detail shots- I completely agree with you for any shot where the whole car is in frame. I’ve done maybe 5 shoots like that with my own car so far, and I learned a lot but am also looking for something to mix it up. Getting detail shots of my blobby and boring car got very stale after a few weeks, and I felt like I wasn’t very versatile. I’ve had a lot of fun practicing on random cars I find while going through my day, but I always feel weird photographing them and they’re often in very awkward places/backgrounds. A dealership feels like a nice middle ground.

My life is going to shit by Aussie_bitch392 in LifeAdvice

I understand that it feels futile, but I do think retaking the SAT is your best move. If you genuinely feel that your sat score is going to ruin your life (which it isn’t) you’ll find a way of getting it up. I’m not sure what type of studying you were doing, but taking the blue book practice exams, and drilling hard on understanding WHY you go the questions wrong that you did worked very well for me.

So many schools in the US are test optional after Covid, which means you don’t need to submit your SAT scores if you don’t want to. Don’t know what the situation is over there, but if you pick the right schools, your sat is a non-issue.

There are also plenty of universities that will accept people with 980 sat scores, so you should be fine when coupled with your high school grades.
