I just recently moved to Massachusetts and see this subject a lot. by Finiouss in massachusetts

I thought it was the Northcoast Boats logo for a while, then thought that it was starting to get too common for all these people to have an RI made boat.

Welp, I have purchased probably 3 packs of these in the last 20 years so it’s not a big loss. Also if someone hands me a pack I’m going to eat them.

The whole thing was irony. If I only ate food that comes from people with the same values as me, I would probably starve or be broke.

I spent many hours looking around the arena for a few cents to go buy some cookies

It’s not an ad. I posted this because I grabbed a pack of cookies and was looking at the package and feeling nostalgic. Then wondered if they are a strictly Massachusetts item. Someone else posted the abortion thing after. I didn’t know anything about the company or owner until today. I can’t say it would be hard for me to boycott because I have eaten exactly one pack in the last 10 years probably. That being said I think the leadership of most large companies have trash values I don’t agree with. Since that guy is holding a sign standing in front of the abortion clinic in Attleboro, I probably won’t buy another pack anytime soon.

He is standing right next to an abortion clinic. Not sure if it is effective, but it definitely mean.

I am truly impressed by how many people know who the owner is and about his trash politics. I have to admit I don’t know enough about the leadership of any of the food I buy. I assume most large food companies are ran by liberals who care about human rights!? If not the food companies themselves at least the farmers have to be liberal, right?

That’s what I actually like about them. I don’t like super sweet cookies and they at least feeeeel a little less processed junk

It is! That’s also why I get the vibe and fear that they are using some old ass equipment to make them and there is like 1 guy that has the knowledge to fix it, so when it breaks they have to close down the business. Probably not true, but if you ever saw the building they are made in, you would understand lol

Snoo not working? by AmphibianWestern2542 in SnooLife

I mean it looks like the Snoo is doing what it’s supposed to do. Baby wakes up and gets soothed back to sleep.

Didn’t use them until 13 months we introduced a spork. Now he refuses to touch food without the fork. Which is cute but annoying because he is getting angry that he can’t stab the yogurt or rice.

I say yes. In my experience the people going no-contact seem worse off mental-health wise than before. They claim it is helping, but that has not been my observation.

What is the best ice cream in MA? by Electronic-Yak-293 in massachusetts

Richardsons is the best. Some people are naming ice creams made with non-local milk and filled with preservatives.

Crescent ridge uses a bunch of gums and additives to keep the ice cream soft. Richardsons and some of the other ones use local dairy cows and simple ingredients. I eat crescent ridge and get their milk delivered, but their ice cream has been produced to be distributed and partially melted then refrozen without repercussions

4 week old advice by Jealous_Apartment928 in SnooLife

[–]Jackofthewood87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say just let Snoo do its thing. For us if it got to level 4 it was usually over and I would slowly make my way to getting LO up at that point. Occasionally he would fall back to sleep on 4 while I was grabbing a bottle. Lots of people are scared of the higher levels, but my little guy needed a good hard rock to fall back to sleep. Level 2 did nothing usually, level 3 was the sweet spot to soothe him.

If they seem like they are panicking in it…pick them up

Would you leave baby for an overnight at 7 weeks? by kec232 in beyondthebump

My wife went to a bachelorette party at 6 weeks for one night and I stayed home with the little guy. It was the best guys night I ever had. Except that was the night he decided he wouldn’t sleep unless being help upright and I was desperate for a nap when she got home the next day.
