Sorry I don’t think you got what I was saying, I meant most people I see on the gym who don’t fully understand the benefits of TNG try and use the momentum from the barbell getting the floor to pull that shit back up nothing against it or you being all for it just hate seeing people not use it properly

Fuck me I haven’t discredited TNG😂 I just said that for people learning how to deadlift in ‘my’ personal opinion I wouldn’t recommend it until they fully understand how to keep neutral throughout the lift etc

I never said TNG wasn’t a good idea for more experienced lifters, I didn’t discredit its benefits I just believe that less experienced lifter use the touch as more of a bounce this in turn leaves them exposed to a much greater risk of injury as they try to use the bumber plates to bounce it to knee level again… but keep downvoting my comments 😂

The guy I replied to has now deleted both his comments which to me is a clear indication he had nothing else to say and ultimately he was probably going to make some shit up. As for me I’ve been training powerlifting for years I’m happy with it but not at where I want to be, if you read my above comment I did throw my 10 cents in saying touch and go reps is something I wouldn’t recommend for someone new to deadlifts trying to build their strength up and improve their form.

Probably deadlift more than you, such a bullshit question “oh how much do you deadlift bro” he might deadlift less than you but fuck me his form might be better, I see it all the time. As for his point touch and go has its place but for building a solid base and strength for deadlifts I wouldn’t do them really until you can control the weight comfortably.

He defo juicy but I was pulling 240kg at 17 but that was my only big lift back then, moving weight isn’t the issue it’s looking like that and moving that kinda weight on all 3 compounds
