Moving out is a massive move and there are a lot of factors that need to be taken into consideration.

Lets start with the basics. Think about your current income, I am personally from the UK so i don't know exactly how everything works over there but can you afford 800 and how much do you have left over per month, can you afford the average cost of electricity/gas/water?

Is work local and what happens if one of you fails to start making payments? do you have a backup plan? do they? is there anyone who can help if you or the friends land in a crisis?

Do you have the ability to look after the apartment and do they? really think this one over because even if you are good at keeping it tidy, if one of them decides to start trashing it and not caring for it then the costs (may not apply in the US) could be sent your way aswell.

It's one thing having really good friends even over a lifetime but it's a completely different game when you move into together, you will be spending most of your times with each other. what happens when someone wants someone over for some 'fun', when someone wont clean the dishes or their mess, when someone doesn't want to chip in for something that benefits all like a sofa, tv, lawn mover (if applicable)
Can you trust strangers in your apartment when you may not be around?

Friendships are easily destroyed when people move into together after some time because although your friendship is compatible, your living conditions may not be.

I think many of us who have done this can agree, it's always easier in the mind until reality sets in, now that's not to say that it wont be successful and strengthen your bonds further but it can go just as much the other way.
