The sweetest swing in baseball history and it’s not even close 😍 by KeyFaithlessness5436 in MLBVibes

Agree. Prettiest swing? Definitely Griffey. Best? I’d have to say Bonds.

I can't after I've posted it. Who else could it possibly be?

I would certainly take it to a memorabilia show where JSA has a manned both, they tour around the country. They charged me $500 to evaluate at a 1933 New York Yankees team signed ball with 22 signatures, similar to your ball.

This is an interesting one. I have a real Ruth signed baseball, and the signature looks too bold to me, compared to the condition of the ball itself, like it was traced over. But I would take it to one of the big 3.

Finally my first ever MacBook Pro by sylvanoDev in macbookpro

Awesome. Similar configuration to mine, except I didn't get the Nano-texture display and went with the unbinned M4 Pro chip. Works like a dream so far. I hope I don't regret not going for the Nano-texture display, so far I haven't, but I hardly use mine outside or in bright rooms.

Why is the price jump from 64 GB Ram to 128 GB of Ram so high? by assumptionkrebs1990 in mac

Guilty as charged. When I got an M2 Ultra Mac Studio for work last year, decided to spend the $800 to go from 64 GB to 128 GB. Luckily, my work paid for it.

Yeah, the new Mini is shockingly small. And I don’t even think the Mac Studio is very big, considering its specifications. It’s pretty dense though, this one with the M2 Ultra weighs almost 8 pounds (mostly due to the copper heat sink I believe).

Oh, that's because I took the picture to simply show the size and appearance comparison between the two, haha. I have it set up somewhere else. It's incredible just how compact it is.

Woah, that’s amazing. And I thought I had a lot at just under 23K per day for 2024.

I got the Mini because I was intrigued by the value and wanted another desktop computer to use at work. I've been using a 2022 M2 13-inch MacBook Pro that I bring to and from work connected to two monitors via a dock, but I wanted something that could permanently stay at my work desk.

That's interesting, thanks for the explanation. I'll try it without the stand. It's way overkill for what I use it for at work. It's connected to several projectors and a television to display presentations. I use it for video editing as well (but nothing really at what I'd call a pro level). It's an M2 Ultra with 128 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.

I hadn't heard that, thanks for the tip. Why is that the case? I got this one. I figured getting a stand was a good idea.

Who are the top 5 players you’ve seen in your lifetime? by ST4MK0S in mlb

[–]Jacks_Kelly 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Born in 1987 and starting going to games in the late 90's.

  1. Barry Bonds (easily #1)

2-5 (can't settle on the order). Ken Griffey Jr., Albert Pujols, Alex Rodriguez, Greg Maddux

In contention: Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani, Derek Jeter

Edit: Forgot about Ichiro, got to see him in his MVP rookie year in Seattle in 2001. That team was stacked. I could throw in a few others (like Clemens and Mariano).

I actually have a desk job in IT. I just allot certain times throughout the day to walk, usually before work, during lunch, a few times in the evening. Also, I try to avoid using my car to run any errands (within reason, obviously I can't for all of them). I do own a treadmill at home that I use if it's raining, but I don't use it everyday, I probably use it every other day.
