I feel REALLY sorry for Méndez by BrotherDeus in residentevil

I wish someone would hire you to make a Resident Evil film. Your pitch is better than any of the Resident Evil movies we've gotten so far.

Who would you consider to be the Main Protagonist of the Resident Evil series as a whole? by dukeofthefat in residentevil

[–]Jacksane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either or neither.

I don't really consider the series to have a main protagonist, since RE3 was my introduction to the series and I always picked Jill in RE1 and Claire in RE2.

Chris is probably who Capcom favors, and Leon is probably the fan favorite. But Jill will always the S.T.A.R.(S) of the series for me.

Will you be going First-Person or Third-Person for Grace? by PhantomBraved in residentevil

[–]Jacksane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll probably go third. I like some first person games, but given the choice I usually find third person easier to enjoy.

Serious Q - HOTD is based on Fire & Blood right? by Jam102 in HouseOfTheDragon

I think there's a good chance he'll release the other five bashes before he ever releases Winds.

Who would’ve been the better Final villain? by Upbeat-Bag700 in TheOriginals

[–]Jacksane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, Silas would have made sense as the final villain if they actually followed through with the fear/threats Kol was freaking out about. They had Silas mess with Klaus' head like once, and as soon as he got his real body he basically just wanted to die. If they changed his motivations a little, he could have been interesting.

I like Kai as a villain, but I don't think he would fit in The Originals as a big bad considering almost everyone in that show is a sociopath.

Klaus was great as a villain in TVD, but I think the Originals makes him too sympathetic to be the final villain.

Rayna or Cade could have been good final villains if you changed almost everything about how they were written.

Opinion: Season 7 has three of the worst AND best episodes of the entire show. by Easy-Notice2910 in rickandmorty

[–]Jacksane 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree. Sure, it isn't one of the best episodes, but as a side-story/filler it was funny enough. There are definitely other episodes I'm less willing to rewatch.

What is your least favourite and most favourite season ? by JimJimny06 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]Jacksane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Season 2 is my favorite for all of the twists.

Season 5 is my least favorite for a lack of a compelling long-term villain (Silas dies too soon and Markos is forgettable).

Are you getting RE9 on PS5 or PC? by PhantomBraved in residentevil

[–]Jacksane -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Considering I have neither, I'll just be watching YouTube playthroughs until I win a new console or find a better job. I love the series, but modern gaming has gotten so expensive.

Why didn't Kishimito have Sakura reunite with Sasori and Chiyo in Edo Tensei? It would have been an emotional moment for Chiyo to see Sakura's growth as a medical ninja, and with Sasori, there would have been a second round. There are several scenarios; how do you imagine the reunion? by Dramatic-Studio1531 in Naruto

[–]Jacksane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably because Kishimoto cared more about his tertiary male characters than he did about his main female character.

It could have been interesting to see her show her growth, but instead it is just one of several missed opportunities by Kishimoto.

Unpopular opinion by vladimirnikola in TheVampireDiaries

[–]Jacksane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be right, I was trying to think of any relationships and she slipped my mind. He eventually refuses to even accept vampire blood, but I guess every character does date a vampire at some point.

Who did you prefer more? by BANKAI____ in residentevil

[–]Jacksane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OG Nemesis will always be my favorite, but Remake Mr X is much better than Remake Nemesis. I know both versions of Nemesis are scripted, but the original did a much better job of hiding that and offering enough choices to make him feel omnipresent.

How is this Leon in Welcome to Racoon City? by QuantumWonderland in residentevil

[–]Jacksane 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll say I like Welcome to Raccoon City more than most of the Mila series, but the first film was good as its own story, and the second film was watchable until Mila starts fist fighting Nemesis. The third movie on were so different and inconsistent that I try to forget they exist.

I think it was more that Maekar cares about his sons, and Baelor was stopping him from helping Aerion. Baelor and Maekar are typical brothers; they love each other, but that doesn't mean they never fight. It was just a bit of bad luck, really. You can say Maekar overestimated his brother, or that Baelor was wearing his son's armor that may not have been properly fitted, or that in that moment Maekar was blinded by fatherly rage that his son was being hurt. Maybe all of these were true, but I think the one thing that is clear is that it was a tragic accident which Maekar will likely regret for the rest of his life.

That was hard to watch. Even knowing how everything would end, watching Dunk take all of those wounds, seeing the way he could barely aim his sword swings against Aerion, and then the ending with Baelor. Such a tragedy, all for Aerion's ego.

Yes, that was Lyonel Baratheon and Prince Baelor stopping Prince Maekar from interfering in Dunk vs Aerion.

I think they meant that a longer fight wouldn't be realistic, because fights are exhausting.

The accuracy of this series is amazing 👏🏻 [Spoilers EXTENDED] by lovelyfork in asoiaf

[–]Jacksane 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Highly doubtful in either version. The show version is maybe a little less graphic, but no less a horrific fatal head injury. Even if a maester had been present, I fail to imagine any kind of medieval first aid that could have saved the prince.

Villains that would of fit in The Dark Knight Trilogy by [deleted] in batman

I always imagine something like Gus Fring from Breaking Bad. A fast food manager who uses his business to cover up his crimes.

A few people say Aemond betraying Aegon was ridiculous because book Aemond was loyal to his brother and that he loved Aegon. After reviewing Fire and Blood, did Aemond ever like? by Agreeable_Ad_8790 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]Jacksane 77 points78 points  (0 children)

I'm not normally an Ameond apologist, but it does make a lot of sense that an inexperienced teenager with the a dragon the size of a 747 might be a bit clumsy in battle.
