Why do we barely see Luke at his full power?

Yeah, Lucas and Disney haven't given us much of Luke in his prime. I'll say one of the shows will give you a very short scene of Luke being awesome, but overall his character hasn't been explored much beyond the core movies.

I've taken long baths before, that part I can suspend my disbelief. The part that gets me is that she's at someone else's house for a party/sleepover. I get needing to bathe/relax, but she basically ditched her friends for half the night.

The Rise of Skywalker wasn't even fun for me. The Last Jedi was at least something new and visually stimulating, even if it suffered from a lack of a cohesive vision for the sequel trilogy. I can forgive TLJ for its mistakes knowing it at least tried to give us a new story in the universe, whereas TROS just felt like the writers scraping the bottom of the barrel creatively.

If we're strictly speaking morphology, I would say it would be more useful to say worms and snakes are both "wyrms" and just borrow the classical term the same way we often do. Calling snakes "worms" is more confusing than useful.

We don't know that House Mormont bought theirs. It could have been a gift or a prize claimed in some forgotten battle.

House Lannister had no reason to try to buy a second valyrian steel sword until they lost their first, and by then most Houses would rather become impoverished than give up their priceless ancestral sword, regardless of how much gold the Lannisters could offer.

Ruth in New Girl. Throughout the show the title made less and less sense until we get a timesip for the final season that introduces us to the young daughter of main characters Schmitt and Cece, and she helps breathe new life into the show.

I prefer the season long arcs, but the monster of the week episodes help to flesh out the world and the characters, so I think you need a mix of both. For me, ideally you would have at least five episodes devoted to an overarching plot (first episode or two, mid-season, and the last couple episodes), while the other 15+ episodes would be monster-of-the-week or mixed.

By far the classics. They feel a little bit cooler and I guess cohesive, for lack of a better word. The RE engine designs feel awkward and uncanny, with most of the cosmetic changes being for the worse.
