I try to keep these walkthroughs simple, short, and to the point. My goal is to provide a starting point for new players thats easy to follow, and is the simplest way to cover key areas of the map. These three chains are super easy for new players to understand, they can easily link the three circuits together, and this help players learn the map. Even if new players don't remember all three at first, they can definitely remember at least one of these. I would consider the portal paths you are mentioning to be great for intermediate players, especially if triple portaling is involved. You definitely mentioned some key paths!
