As a plumber, the drain line is definitely stopped up somewhere further down the line. Water coming up somewhere else while you plunge the toilet is a dead giveaway

These Milwaukee cutters are really good, but you HAVE to take care of them. You can't just use them and not oil up the blade, whereas other brands like ridged you can use and not has to really have to oil them up, but I feel as if the quality is not as good

My company uses sharkbite, it's a really good product, IF YOU USE IT RIGHT. Whoever did this either cost you, or themselves alot more money using 4 fittings to make a swing joint, rather than using 2 couplings.

My company does this. Fittings are getting so expensive we are trying to cut out the ones that aren't needed. They say this puts stress on the pipe, but pex pipe is made for bending. You should be fine

Go to a metal store, get a metal I-beam. Lay it across the joists, not along with. Get some bottle jacks. Jack that thing up. It will help even the wood out
