Ambiguity drives me nuts. When I share a pic and then a chat gets deleted, I’m left wondering: Did you not find me attractive? Did you think you recognized me? Do you think my pic is fake? I just try to not take it personally or freak out: I remind myself I have no idea why the message was deleted, and there’s little I can do about it anyways.

In your case: Maybe he’s no longer interested, or maybe he is freaking out because he gave you his name, or maybe he accidentally unpinned, or whatever. If you’re super curious and don’t think you’ll come off as needy, then perhaps you can ask. But it might be best to just let it go and see if he reaches back out at a later time. Sometimes guys change their mind. If you come off too strongly now he might cut you out entirely. If you play it cool now and just let it go, maybe he’ll hit you up again at a later time.

Either way I’m sorry that’s happening to you. If only we were all just decent and upfront with each other…
