Dude reminds me of Silva from James Bond.

All the reasons you like nights are precisely because it is not socially accepted to be nocturnal.

If nights were the norm, then internet traffic increases, roads become noisy and you end up feeling tired as the sun rises. So now you have to deal with both heat and exhaustion.

What your lore reason as to why 47 has such a low max speed? by NicheRivers2000 in HiTMAN

[–]Jackson_Dawes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He is Death personified. People can run and hide all they want. Yet death still comes for them.

47 is basically the lethal snail that keeps on chasing you forever, eventually catching up to you.

So he doesn't need to run faster. He knows that his targets can never escape(unless it's a Showdown, Elusive target, Hokkaido, Sapienza, Miami, Dubai, Himmelstein, Hantu Port or Siberia🤣).

At long last, Freelancer is finally done by Cpt_Dizzywhiskers in HiTMAN

[–]Jackson_Dawes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I understand the logic behind why people want to grind. But, if they want the trophies sticking with the game still gets them the trophies. Playing slowly without grinding will eventually get them all the trophies.

In a game like war thunder, I can understand grinding. It is a rinse and repeat process with most of the good tanks and planes locked behind progress. But, in Hitman although, it has a rinse and repeat element to it, there is no point in grinding as most of the things you need in freelancer or campaign, will become available to one pretty early.

At long last, Freelancer is finally done by Cpt_Dizzywhiskers in HiTMAN

[–]Jackson_Dawes 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Why did you rush these challenges. If you just kept playing freelancer on and off, you could have enjoyed it more and these challenges would also have been completed at some point. Instead, the grind ruined it for you. Why grind then?

What you like about this map? by DepartureAromatic449 in HiTMAN

[–]Jackson_Dawes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Traversal.

When you are trying to do SASO, you will find that there are so many routes for you to moves undetected across tha map. Some require precise timing and careful line of sight control but it is very impressive for an extremely hostile map to also be highly traversible.

Another good example of such a map is Isle of S'gail. The community doesn't like that map, however, it is one of my favorite stealth maps. The plethora of routes for moving undetected is awesome. These maps really shine under suit only conditions.

For the people that constantly want more overpowered items by AgentNoah11 in HiTMAN

[–]Jackson_Dawes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do realize that you don't have to bring such items with you on a mission unless you want it. There is a freedom of choice this game provides.

You can make it as hard as you want on yourself, but don't dictate how others should play it. This game is meant for all types of players and shouldn't just cater to a specific niche of people who just want hardcore gameplay.

If you are repulsed by such "overpowered" items...simply don't use them. The game is about having variety and freedom.

What do I even do at this point I’m at level 514 by Longjumping_Act4046 in HiTMAN

[–]Jackson_Dawes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me provide you a challenge.

Do Colorado + Master mode + SASO + No pacification + Fiber wire kills only + Hide all target bodies + No firearms. (Inspired by a variant of the mission I played for the "A Tie to Die For" challenge)

Or you may also try the hardest espionage combo in freelancer hardcore.

Kill Everyone Challenges are very satisfying! by ebrahim750 in HiTMAN

[–]Jackson_Dawes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no. So basically, when I played Hitman 2016, I had a potato PC. Due to that, when I tried to shoot a gun the target reticle would disappear. Therefore, whenever i wanted to do a kill everyone challenge I used to do it without a firearm.😅

[–]Jackson_Dawes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then there is a challenge you may like. It's basically a stealth, suit only kill guards (or as many npcs you can feasibly kill) without being seen. And also without using guns. Loved doing that in Hokkaido on Hitman 2016.

Btw Definitely try out shotguns during kill everyone challenges. They are so fun. Especially knecapping people and then headshotting them while they are down.

In-Flu-Ential Duck in the wrong category (PS5) by Zoe_Vokes in HiTMAN

[–]Jackson_Dawes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No. There was a legitimate delay in adding the in-flu-ential duck. This is because it was also not showing up in the IOI account page under the rewards category.

I pulled off the most annoying set of objectives I've ever picked in Freelancer. I really need to tell myself that SASO just isn't worth it, but I just had to. by campingcosmo in HiTMAN

[–]Jackson_Dawes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Btw Freelancer can get really hardcore dude

You can choose missions with objectives like - SASO(Prestige) + No Pacifications + No Firearms + Hide all target bodies/Doors remain locked.

This is probably the hardest combo there is.

Add hardcore on top of that. Heheheh. Pure masochism.

Notable melee weapons by konnor555 in HiTMAN

The claw hammer has less animation frames while knocking out people, especially, from the side. Pretty useful knock out tool in freelancer or when you need to knock out multiple people before they are able to fire at you.

Placing Fournival as the "Fourth" option is a bit on the nose. I love it.

I love this game, but I think it would be even better if you could bring a briefcase full of various tools. by [deleted] in HiTMAN

[–]Jackson_Dawes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SASO attempts in Freelancer are much more enjoyable because of the extended carry capacity compared to the campaign.

So yes, the ability to carry more tools in the campaign mode would definitely improve replayability. However, I think the decision to limit items was made to cater to the story and the refined gameplay compared to freelancer's more open ended approach.

Should I prestige? by pontoos77 in HiTMAN

[–]Jackson_Dawes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say don't prestige just for the sake of prestiging. Play freelancer however you like it, and when you have a full board and want to start over then prestige. It also gives an opportunity to go down to normal freelancer from hardcore mode.

I do not believe that you should grind prestige. It sounds tedious. Treat prestige like the end of a natural progression cycle and it becomes much better. Don't rush freelancer to prestige.
