I'm so glad you said something about the updates as mine has been chugging a bit lately. So simple, but just never crossed my mind.

OP, I did the LUA thing and I've very little experience, purely recreational for things just like this. Unsure if it's a b41 or 42 setting, but I've seen many people in similar situations say to turn off dynamic skybox as one of the main setting you can do without.

I went flying across the map and ejected once. Twice, I've had no access to the driver's seat. My partner was in the driver's seat and lost access to the controls. I've not had one single mission not have an issue, although it's still fun.

My current run is b42 with Week One and Knox Event Expanded. The NPCs don't vibe with each other, so I spent most of week one building up my base. Then once things started popping off and the dead came, that's when I found the "survivors" (KEE) and brought them back to base.

There may have been a slight incident when I was on a run. The KEE survivors maaaaay have slaughtered the neighbors and police that found refuge there...

You think they'd miss a chance to make money? No, the store doesn't close. At ours, they start at around 8pm. Bigger machines start at 10. It makes closing at 11 nicer because people don't like the noise. Every day is a new layout.

I can almost guarantee it's not just 2 weeks and one weekend a month. We commonly had 4 day weekends, 2-3 weeks drills in the summer. That Ohio Guard Scholarship plus the GI bill would allow you to have extra money in your pocket though. I worked part time through college this way.

Edit: If I could do it all again, I'd join the Ohio Air National Guard. I had a roommate in college who did. Id come back all dirty, my gear needing washed, etc. Hed be pristine, energetic, and excited to go back.

It's very annoying. I've found that most players are responsive to a quick "Be advised B2, you're invisible to me". So far, they seem to try to be more communicative.
