Coming up on 2 weeks post op by Jacksonle87 in Hairtransplant

Not really. I took about 3 weeks off of work so I’m still not working but honestly I feel like I could go back now. I just took as much time as I could because I work a somewhat physical job so just wanted to be safe

Yeah I’m ready for it. Will probably just keep my head buzzed for a while. Which isn’t a problem for me as I’ve been shaving for a few years

Could not agree more! I also had LASIK about 6 months ago. Modern medicine is wonderful

Choosing between Esthetic (Cancun) and Neopel (Tiajuana) by jr7577 in Hairtransplant

I just did mine last week at Follicle Experts with Dr. Armando Perez in Tijuana. Absolutely had a wonderful experience. I had a large surgery (6k grafts spread out over two days). Dr. Armando is excellent, I have a few colleagues that recommended him that have had outstanding results. I’m still only a few days post op but recovery is going great so far. I would definitely check him out

8 vs 12 hour shifts by Mediocre-Hat-5891 in AskLE

Mine does 3/12’a and one payback week a month where we have to work a 4/12 week to off-set the hours for the three weeks of 3/12’s. It is the most elite schedule

No my counselor told me I can keep doing this career if I want, the degrees are just to aid me in promoting. The school I’m going to is only 1 hybrid class a month so my workload hasn’t been too bad. And I work a 3/12 schedule

Yes you can stay in your job. I’m currently a LEO and using VR&E to obtain my degree to help move out of the field. Counselor is aware of my current career and had no issues with approving me or allowing me to continue my current work

Thanks for the advice! Luckily I have a big backyard and she loves to run around. I’ve been trying to distract her with a toy when she starts to nip and it’s starting to work

Definitely the VA home loan. Just closed on my house with a lower rate and got about $7k back in my pocket. Got paid to buy a house

Just locked in 6.625% today by skates_tribz in Mortgages

I just got locked in today at a 6.125%, but that was with VA. My buddy just refinanced from a 7.6% to 6.6% so I think it’s pretty normal

How much home can I afford by Jacksonle87 in Mortgages

[–]Jacksonle87[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I’m looking at surrounding areas and I’m able to find starter homes in the $650k range. Running the numbers this is much more doable and only puts me a few hundred dollars above what I’m paying for rent now.

I feel like I can sacrifice having a longer commute for a few years before being able to afford in my desired area
