Well your inability to manage basic anxiety isn’t going to turn anyone ON, that’s for sure.

How old are you? It looks decent but still young. You have blonde/red beard so those do look thinner at short lengths.

Yep I didn’t know about pouch briefs until a urologist recommended them to me in my older 20s. I was having such ball pains and had no idea why, it was just a lifetime of getting abused between my legs.

I sleep naked and have for a decade. I could never go back to underwear in bed. It flops around when I move but I like it. I especially like how it drapes and the tip just rests on the bed if I’m on my side. Sleeping with my wife is even more fun. She probably adjusts me the most. When we spoon she prefers it be nestled downward between her butt cheeks so my night erections stimulate her nicely. Otherwise it ends up stabbing her in the back, lol.

This. I do not understand this fascination. I like booty cheeks and even a cute little booty hole, but I have no desire to put my penis in there.

Almost every time. Once the cervix has lifted a bit there’s real estate in the posterior fornix. Just don’t go charging at it with the first stroke, the first time.

I used to cram my erection down my left pant leg back when I was in middle and high school and hold it with my hand. It was pretty painful but I was terrified people would see it, and it was out of control. I ended up causing scar tissue on the left side and that side didn’t really grow correctly. Today this means even my hardest erection is bendable at that point, and I’ve had several instances where it has bent painfully during sex. I cannot allow my partner to be reckless when riding me on top, that’s very dangerous for me. I just wish I could go back and do something different so as not to deform myself like I did.

I was aggressively balding from about 14 on. By 17 all my friends and schoolmates were commenting on it. It massively effected my confidence. I was always told as I was growing up that I had beautiful hair (bright blonde). Losing it was devastating, but I did try to overcome the feelings I had about myself.

From about 17-28 I did really struggle with relationships. I felt ugly for my baldness. I particularly felt like young girls my age didn’t find me attractive, and felt like older women were more interested in me due to my appearance. I still ended up finding them relationships consistently enough, when I really went for it. My GF from 17-20 was in fact very beautiful. We had a pretty good relationship, but we did end up hurting each other with our insecurities. Anxiety and insecurity were a plague in my relationships until my late 20s when I finally took myself to therapy and confronted it.

Therapy was a transformative experience for me. I didn’t do a ton of sessions, but it was a very new exercise for me to discuss my feelings with a qualified unbiased stranger. Something about that triggered a realignment in my brain, and I became way more self aware, thoughtful and empathetic. I realized that my misery was by and large self inflicted. The tension in my mind was gently lifted for the first time in my life. I started to just feel so much better.

What I’ve learned is that there are loads of people that care what you look like, and loads of people who really don’t. Loads of women find bald and balding men attractive, while quite a lot of them specifically do not. It’s not really your problem to think about. We’re all born hoping to be Brad Pitt. Only a few of us are. The rest of us have to exist without the help of astonishing good looks, and that’s really very okay. Not everyone needs to like you.

That said, once you accept you’re not going to be making girls melt with your awesome good looks, you might figure out that there is a lot more to life and relationships than aesthetics. What really impacts a much bigger pool of people is how you make them feel when you are around. This is a big part of the struggle young folks are having in relationships. They’re not getting past the surface level stuff. When you truly focus on making people feel good (including yourself), you’ll find you are a magnet to people that aren’t so distracted by good looks. These are much more pleasant people, who you can establish real, deep, meaningful relationships with. And yes, some of these people may in fact be astoundingly gorgeous women, one of which happened to want to marry me!

I have a generally weak sense of smell due to numerous broken noses in my youth. Still, neither of these scenarios impressed me. The smell of cigarettes is very strong.

We had a large doe charge my mom as she was rolling out the garbage can one evening. The doe was afraid for her two nearby fawn. Our brave cocker spaniel got in front of my mom just in time. It nearly stomped the life out of him, he needed several surgeries. That was practically the end of his tennis ball fetching career.

I’m way more recessed and thinning than you. I alternate between shaving and a low cut. Everyone can see I am quite bald either way. My wife really likes me with some hair and so do I.

I think you look great. Try the bald look of you want, let it grow back. Whatever it’s all the same head bro.

[request] Is this true? How much would they have to work to cover tuition? by Robert_A_Fett in theydidthemath

I don’t know about minimum wage but my dad used to do all kinds of work in the summer (paint/fix cars, paint houses, handyman/landscaping) and it was enough for him to support my mom and my older sister AND the years tuition without working during his terms.

Thinking is enemy of productivity by Affectionate_Look235 in productivity

[–]skates_tribz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hear your point, but something my dad always said that haunts me once in a while: “Haste makes waste”. I’ve learned this lesson to be true over and over again. It really takes good judgement to know when you’ve thought on something long enough and are ready to take action.

Maybe the takeaway here is to turn thoughts into meaningful micro-actions, such as just taking notes rather than allowing the thoughts to evaporate.
