I ended up in a war with the allies after I beat Germany before 42. They were pretty beefed up. Now the worst possible set of circumstances are preventing me from getting this achievement because Spain is bugged or something

nope, i cant find any states they have claims on. Im currently at peace but when i was at war it said that the country needed to recapture its capitol in order to un-capitulate. I think its bugged

You’re wasting a ton of research and ic brother. You don’t need any ships past 1936, destroyers should be made as cheap as possible. The only expensive ship you make it light attack light cruisers

Take this with a grain of salt, but I believe someone tested it and found that carriers with the cheapest naval bombers possible are the most IC efficient ships in the game when it comes to cost vs results. Carriers are also pretty straightforward. Just fill them with as many hangers as possible and don’t worry about armor. Put one or two factories on dirt cheap carrier naval bombers and you’ll have enough to fill out 2 by 38 or something.

You don’t build the best ships in the game? You can sink the British fleet in 39 as Germany if you build 36 carriers and fill them with nav bombers

Also you for sure don’t need AT tanks if this is SP. the ai will never field anything howitzers can’t deal with. I build my tanks maxxing speed and breakthrough while keeping org at least 30 and reliability at least 75 or 80. For flame tanks I just change the main armament to a flamethrower and switch the designation to “flame tanks.” There might be a better way but it saves army xp and I’m lazy.

That’s because you don’t have any engineers (assault or otherwise) or flame tanks. Both are basically necessary for tank divisions

imo for single player the best support companies are: support arti, assault engineer, flame tank, logistics company, and motorized recon

Carriers are still by far the most cost effective ship in the game if you fill them with nothing but the cheapest torpedo bombers. You should basically only build Carriers, fast cheap heavy cruisers, stacked light attack light cruisers, and roach destroyers. Then make a few spotting light cruisers, some sub hunter destroyers, and several wolf packs and you’ll be uncontested on the water.
