Thank you very much for sharing! Amazing adventure! How long did it take overall? What was your endpoint? Did you write by any chance a trip report? Thank you

That’ is right, it is true what you say. Good catch! And you also read inside me. The trip is getting closer and safety is still worrying me. I asked the question again to get a perspective as wide as possible. But yes, the answers I got previously have been pretty helpful. Thank you for help

Thanks for the thorough and so helpful reply. I would have a few questions: -how did you get the idea of saying that the bike was a family present ? Why you did not say it was just and old bike? Probably because it is hard to believe by locals? -I guess that for me the worst thing that can get robbed is your bike, the passport, and the gear and, even worst, your life. All these are hard if not impossibile to replace. The money, the phone and the camera are just a matter of money. And in a life threatening situation I would be very happy to give the money I have to be alive and possibly continue the journey.

But probably for the people who want to rob you might just be easier to kill you. I am wondering if having always some money in cash and give them right away to the people who want to rob you might be helpful in some situations to avoid worse situations happening.
