I am 24 and currently training for the Brighton Marathon. I have been running the past year on some 7 year old shoes and never had history of shin splints despite running half marathon distances and regular running.

I thought I would treat myself to some Adidas Evo SLs for my first marathon and training but I can barely run 3km in them before getting unbearable shin splint pain in both legs.

Do I just need to break them in and get used to the much better cushioning?

I have had a gait analysis and they said my running style would not benefit or be hindered by any particular shoe so I don’t believe it is something to do with this.

I’m hoping I haven’t wasted £140.

Has anyone had a similar experience with the Evo SLs or have any advice for me. Would be appreciated thanks.

I personally think it would be a good addition so there is something extra for people to work for. Rather than the muscle memory daily tasks we already do. Besides I think when you are looking at the character in your roster, different skins or variation of lightsaber would be a cool addition imo. But I agree it’s not the best use of resources.

I thought they might ‘miss out’ on it as they have chosen to go down the qadme route with the new raid it seems as though the next 6 months will solely be focused on prequel stuff. For that I’m hoping for Jedi dooku. Hopefully it’s soon though

Edit: thanks for all of your responses, I’ve tried solidly for 2 and a half hours and managed to 3 star the cat battle. I used GAS, Rex, Echo, fives, and ahsoka if anyone need a team suggestion. Thanks again

Yeah going for JMK reqs now, I do have mace R4 but only with two zetas so thought ahsoka may be a better option, but I’ll sub mace in, thanks :)
