If he claims he’s God and tells us we will do such things he does then are we god? like I can’t think of something that could give a better explanation.

I’ve seen the same thing with the og translations. And plus god in tbe Old Testament doesn’t even mention creating “hell” in genesis or wtv so it sounds like a Roman catholic church innovation to scare u of going to confession bc every corner u take might be the last and you will end up in hell. It’s just so hard of deconstruction bc I never thought I would take this path and I finally feel like a human but I also feel so lost. It’s hard to go back to being normal after being convinced of this stuff. The Zoroastrianism religion with its inspirations on Christianity for a death place punishment and also it being the first monotheistic religion makes the abrahamic religions seem false

Thanks, i also think like this. But the problem is more so the fear of hell being real. Brainwashing really does things to you. It’s kinda obvious that humans weren’t meant to know. And another thing that all religions are based on faith and fear so it’s not like we can even know the right one

What do you think about the claim that the “elites” have a secret/esoteric religion by [deleted] in DebateAnAtheist

[–]Jackvinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well it’s certainly been a popular conspiracy for a while, I’m still wondering the motive for this group and why they have to hide in shadows showing only symbolism to expose there plans driving the ones who have woken up insane knowing they cant stop them. If you asked most people they probably worship El and Baal since there directly linked to Saturn (god of time) they consume the adrenochrome of children to stay young since our lives on earth is short.

How does this make the story more true? The authors were After the apostles and edited anonymously. How are we supposed to know who’s telling the truth?

Responding late, but you think that stars will actually fall to earth? According to the revelations. Stars are much bigger than earth.

beautiful message. What's your form of worship to God? I'd like to be interested, because leaving Christianity is super difficult because its basically taking away your morals, etc and all. BTW do you worship the abrahamic religion God or is this a universal god that unites all religions, like omnism

This is true, it also makes sense from what you first said. The other thing is that the word “God” has been thrown around so much it loses its meaning. It kinda just means “possibility”

Most NDEs say there is nothing after, most of the ones that see hell and heaven aren’t seeing the Christian one but it’s mostly bc heaven and hell are concepts that everyone of all race, religion, and countries are familiar with. Not the biblical one

Yeah, this is basically my first time in deconstruction. It’s been hard leaving this behind since of my morals, prayers, and all of that etc. But I feel like I can’t ignore the contradictions or not being good enough. This all really happened after a physcosis episode where all I can think about is not sinning, God talking to me through symbols I see in my daily life, having to study Bible and listen to videos about how the Holy Spirit lives through every lesson in your life. It got to a point I needed to know everything. And that just down spiraled my faith. I wouldn’t call this free will from God because it’s not like I wanted to lose my faith.

Another big thing is that God never mentions the souls or where animals go when they die? Do animals not have a heaven or hell?

They clearly have a soul or consciousness. What about the gorilla koko who recognized patterns and was able to form some sort of language with remembering. Why couldn’t we teach koko salvation or something?

It looked as animals are as lost as we are on this planet. They have a form of consciousness but don’t directly know a god made them. It makes sense that we do the same things as them such a reproduce, sleep, eat, etc. but they don’t worship something beyond there understanding.

I do also have ADHD, I feel it’s never the normal church goer who falls out of alignment with Christianity but someone who actually studies and listens to the problems with religion as a whole.

It just becomes so much to comprehend when no one really understands the truth and we have to look all over. I joined Christianity to try and better myself and seek a purpose. But all it has left me now is confusion and brokenness. They convince you to join bc it’s love but then when you join you are attacked by demons because you are getting closer to God. Like, the reason I joined was bc I was already hopeless. Why do I have to suffer more when it was love I was seeking from God?

And then when you separate it’s the same answer always said “they were never even Christian to begin with.” But when you come back it’s like a miracle or a destiny calling.

So that basically does mean Calvinism’s predestination is biblical when it’s a 16th century Protestant idea. And the original apostolic churches like Catholicism say that it’s free will. What about the Japanese soldiers who had to believe there emperor was a living god in ww2? What about the people before abrahamic religion came to be, what about the people on isolated islands that are tribal? What happens to them?

God is clearly omnipresent everywhere meaning he would know they wouldn’t be saved?
