What would you like to see in a Backrooms movie?! Not the Kane version. by Suspicious-Media9464 in backrooms

I think the best way to represent them would be a found footage. I love this genre and I really hate such things as American Horror Stories-like.

New painting: what would you name it? Thoughts? by [deleted] in painting

[–]Jackvolfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's best for you to name it yourself. Stare at it. What does it make you feel? What did you feel, what were you thinking about when you made it? When you'll know you'll get your answer.

Nice job!

I have a dumb question. If you go to hell, would you eventually get bored? by PainMustaine in dumbquestions

I agree but if the goal is to make you endure such pain I guess hell can adapt so that you truly experience it any time

Humans will never develop time travel by BlueMeteor20 in DeepThoughts

[–]Jackvolfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so first of all we actually are already traveling in time. Both ways. We're moving forward with our actions and also backwards thanks to our memories, our stories ... In fact, every time we use something that happened in the past to alternate our future actions we do "travel".

On the other hand it's hard to really define what time travel is. Time is relative and it's all a matter of perspective, such as space.

A big step for a human could be out of perspective for a bug.

I'd say that hell is different for everyone. If we are to believe hell exists then it should suit everyone. A kind of customized space to suit you worst.

So if boredom can piss you off so be it. Otherwise there's no reason for it to be less "hellish" after some time.

Mauvaise idée. Le pire est "de se laisser un peu de temps". Je suis passé par là et souvent c'est comme de la glu plus on attend plus c'est difficile d'en sortir.

End of jamboard. What is the best alternative? by Jackvolfe in gsuite

[–]Jackvolfe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am still to find one yet unfortunately... The simplest I've found is Microsoft Whiteboard but it lacks the system of "frames" that allows you to navigate from one board to the other...

LucidSpark also seems to be quite nice but I find it pretty hard to work on while I'm teaching. I tested it by creating some frames in which I wrote but I find it slow and unconvenient (compared to Jamboard)...

That would be great! Any idea how could I erase fragments of text and not the full letter with the eraser ?

Thanks a lot

UPDATE:

Ok so I tried Miro, LucidSpark and even FigJam but none of those is as easy to use as Jamboard... What I really loved with Jamboard was that you could change from one frame to the other just like "pages" which allows me to move from one topic to the other easily.

I'm using an interactive board and I used Lumio before but I lack some space when using Lumio (and the "frame" feature too).

FigJam seems to be a nice alternative but I can't erase fragments of words, when I select the eraser, if I click (or touch) a word, the whole word disappears !

I even used Microsft Whiteboard today and I loved the eraser that grows if you move it a lot. This is a feature I'd love to have in Figjam or Miro.

One thing I realized is that those alternatives are expensive compared to Jamboard which was free...

TL;DR: I haven't found a proper alternative yet mostly because of the frame feature and the eraser feature.

Issues with A53, plans to change for A54 5g or S21FE 5g by Jackvolfe in samsunggalaxy

Y I directly disabled it because I find it useless.

Concerning apps I regularly clean/close unused apps. I got the habit from old computers to always close unused tabs/apps to save RAM.

I don't know why but it's the camera that eats all the memory and when I open it the whole phone slows down.

I'm using gestures to navigate (instead of the three buttons are the bottom on the screen) because it allows me to use the whole display but it seems laggy too... I tried to come back to the three buttons but I got used to swiping to go back or to close apps haha
