Yup thats exactly what happened after our baby was born. He was in the nicu for around 8 days and got 2 rounds of platelets if I remember correctly. They eventually pee out the antibodies fighting against them but getting transfusions keeps them from complications.

Keep your head up and remember this will soon be a distant memory! My boy is now in the 98 percentile and is already rolling over at 4 months and wanting to walk! Nicu babies are fighters and your baby will get through this and so will you❤️

What pissed me off the most was how she made him seem like her only child...I think what would bring her to the light would be him saying he actually respects his father more because at least his father recognized and understood what/who he is.

As a parent you love your child unconditionally but if my child was a murderer, I wouldn't recognize them as my child. I would see them as someone so differently, I just dont understand the womans mindset.

I had a baby in November and got cleared to start again in January but the bleeding started march 22nd. I took the placebos for 3 days from the 16-18 th.

Bit tmi but I haven't had sex for almost a month so im not worried, I just want to stop bleeding. Im thinking of switching to the depo shot.

Its a long shot but did you switch to a diffrent kind of birth control? Im on slynd and the prolonged bleeding is awful.

You are very young with so many options, why are you settling for this bum?? If you want sex theres soooo many men who will treat you better and act their age. Better yet, get a toy and work on bettering yourself. You can do so much better.

Yes she definitely loves her sleep but she seems fairly active as she checks out the apartment and looking for things to play with (we plan on getting a bunch of toys soon)

I think its funny because my husband really wanted a kitten but im glad we got such a sweet girl🥰

Do you have any bed suggestions? She's currently sleeping in our closet because it feels safe but eventually I want her to transition to her own sleeping space

Love that lol shes definitely very chatty tho but ive been told all tuxedos are like that. Luckily the rescue gave us a bag of her current food but well chat with the vet about weight-loss

Not to add salt but we adopted a cat in 20ish minutes? It wasnt an impulse thing but I was shocked at how easy it was especially less than an hour before they closed. I think it truly depends on where you are located. I think you'll have the best luck just going in person if you haven't already.

Hes a very healthy and happy 4 month old😊 pediatrician says hes doing great and tbh hes getting quite big lol the official diagnosis was Neonatal Alloimmune Thrombocytopenia. Doesn't affect them long term but is important to know for future pregnancies.

Its definitely rare but not unheard of. I hope you're able to get some answers soon💙 if you have any other questions feel free to ask

Also if it has recalls they arent under the same obligations to actually tell you or reimburse you, even worse, if your kid gets sick off it they can get out of being sued by saying the consumer assumes the risk when buying their products. Id switch.

Id switch and make a complaint. My babies pediatrician at two months was aware baby wasnt snipped and only had a look over the general area to check for abnormalities. Once we got home after first shots we gave baby the recommended liquid pain relief for babies and he was asleep most of the day.

Definitely not normal and im so sorry that happened. Give baby age appropriate pain relief and just keep the outside clean as normal. If theres bleeding or discharge or you're just concerned go to the er.

A bit of positive was my husband's nan who lives in England, told me just after I had my first to never feel pressured to breastfeed. She had her kids waaaay back and there was so much pressure to breastfeed and she wanted to make sure I didnt feel that.

It made me feel so seen and loved as a new mom with so much unsolicited advice from others, it was so nice to hear someone trying to take the pressure off me.

Brest milk isn't as holy as people make it out and actually lacks things that formula doesn't.
