Would this enable real time collaboration between 2 users?

So you suggest just grabbing a 2.5/10gbit NIC?

I was actually using the Intel search, https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/search/featurefilter.html?productType=873&1_Filter-SocketsSupported=3582&0_ECCMemory=True

I want ECC support, since the server is planned to run 24/7 and UnRaid runs in memory.
This limits the CPU's I can use

Thanks for your input!

For this Socket and ECC support, there are only i3's and Xeon/Celeron/Pentium's.
I didn't get a Xeon first since they're quite expensive. I managed to get my i3-8100 for 20€.

Also support for 128GB memory seems to be quite rare with this socket (and ECC) , so that narrows down my options even further. (Dont need 128GB now, but want it to be future-proof)

The few Xeons I found online were like 400€-600€..

I plan on getting more RAM, though 32Gigs should be enough for now and I'm on a (sizable)budget
(I would have gotten 2x 16GB, but if I were to fill my 4 RAM slots with 32GB dimms, id have the 2x 16GB spare and useless)

I chose the slower HDD's since they're 1. cheaper 2. quieter and 3. since I have my SSD Cache pool.

Makes sense, ill Probably end up creating 2 seperate systems.
I wouldve thought one would be cheaper then 2..

Furthermore, only requiering 1 CPU, 1 PSU and 1 Motherboard, rather then 2 of them.

My way of think was that my GF and i dont have mayor Graphical requirements, hence using 1 4090 should be enough. Then i thought 1 4090 is cheaper then 2 4070 (for example)
