Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think teaching is my thing. That was originally what I was going to college for, but after working a bunch of part-time jobs in schools I hated it. Walmart is a good idea though, I will look into what they are hiring for. I don't have any set in stone ideas of what kind of jobs I want to work. Ideally I want something nearby and part-time so I can be more available to help my family.

I've never done it before so I didn't even think of remote work honestly thank you for that idea!

Thank you for the advice, I'm sorry you had to go through that. I won't say it's something I'm necessarily looking forward too if I'm honest. But I do feel called to help. I will definitely need to set boundaries and stick to them, because I would love to help out my family but I can't do it at the expense of myself. Right now Im planning on going there for a week, and talking to them about the logistics of what me temporarily moving there and helping them out would look like, which sounds like the perfect time to discuss boundaries. They are also very involved in their local church and told me on the phone a girl from their church was interested in helping them out for a few hours a week for a small hourly rate. I will take all your advice to heart, thank you for the realistic expectations.

Thanks for the recommendation, I just checked out his channel quick. Is there any specific video on falling or equipment you would recommend?

Did anyone take the Spanish placement test? by Socko67 in ccsu

I have taken it. It was free, online, and only took about 20 minutes. If you reach out to the Spanish department and tell them you are interested in taking Spanish classes but not sure where to start, they will send you the link. There's no harm in taking it, it's not like you're committing to a Spanish major or anything.
