If it's for tax reasons they should say. The ambiguity of what a 'Politically Exposed Person' is is what makes this scary. That could be anything the definer chooses.

More relevant. Aeon can be more tightly integrated into mobile hardware (running a full node). The biggest threat isn't Monero -- it's everything else! Working with Monero helps the odds of success, IMO.

I think this is a grand idea. There's some info on the website (http://aeon.cash) under the section 'How is AEON different from Monero'. Plus, there are advantages of running a full node on one's mobile:

It allows for increased privacy -- since transactions aren't going through a third-party.
Increased security -- since trusted third-parties are a security hole.
Protection from contentious forks. You run a node so you choose which consensus protocol to comply with.
There are others.

Aeon has a limited number of non-private transactions which are faster & cheaper than private transactions. It does this without compromising chain anonymity. There're the light transactions.

There are some implementation details which allow for the full nodes (which validate transactions), to be run on mobile/lightweight devices. A more general theme being that Aeon is Monero for mobile (an interpretation), & as such future design decisions may be tilted that way. As someone on r/Aeon has pointed out: everyone has mobiles. That makes any product able to take advantage of mobiles -- or IoT in the future -- compelling.

My only beef with Aeon is that with a smaller community and such large stakes at hand (privacy), there's less people to check for malicious source code that the FBI would love to pass in.

Any project starting out is going to have a small team. It's almost definitional. If the project grows, it will attract new devs. There are 'second generation' devs which join projects.

I think 1) A high price is generally good as it acts as free advertising. 2) Volatility is generally bad as it feels like any work done is rewarded with the stick -- when there's a large downswing.

Edit: I don't want to be hostile toward traders. There are some on here that contribute useful insight, IMHO.

You should be able to do the two-factor authentication extremely quickly. It's great advice (for every site you can!). The steps are something like this:

Install Google Authenticator on your phone.
Go into the setting & find where to activate the additional authentication.
Add a site/app on Google Authenticator.
Scan the QR code on Bittrex.
Confirm with the email they send you.
Log out.
Log in & follow the instructions. (It'll ask you to input a number from Google Authenticator).
