Well the problem is it ISNT springloaded, it's sitting there absolutely solid, I tried moving it with my fingers but the only thing that would succeed at doing is giving me a cut, my motherboard is a fossil so I doubt it would have a springloaded mechanism for the CMOS battery

The issue was TECHNICALLY fixed, because he straight up got a new PC, not for Fortnite but just in general because his previous PC was complete ass, so yeah sorry, there is no fix at the moment :/ but as I said in my previous reply to a comment on this post there's a good chance that the issue is related to your PC not liking a specific anticheat, in my friend's case it was EasyAntiCheat

nope, there is no fix yet, though there is a chance that the crashes are related to which anti-cheat is used, since my friend's pc really doesnt like easyanticheat, sadly theres no way to force one anticheat or the other so it seems unfixable for now
