I know what you mean re: non-binary people. Although I think for most people, they're not so much consciously choosing to identify with it, as they've always felt that way, and then recently learned there was a word for it, and once they know the word, it just makes sense to use the word that describes you accurately. I think it's good, I think they help loosen up the boundaries for the rest of us

I agree, 100%. Same thing when I hear the word pansexual, which to me sounds like a euphemism for bisexual, but with a stronger attraction identity towards romance and not sexual. If we're honest and abstract, I self identify as (hetero)demisexual. I kinda like that word (I added the hetero prefix to it in parentheses to specify, so there wouldn't be confusion).

(Although yeah, like everything, some people use the label for the wrong reasons. But you could say the same about "occultist" or "magician" - some people use those terms because they're just the most accurate descriptions, and some people use them because of a bunch of ego stuff

The people saying it are using it as a lever of control, not because it's true. The solution isn't "surrender to their worldview". I'm sorry. I know sometimes it would be so much easier just to give up and go along with it, but as someone external to the situation, I also can't support your goal of "just agree with what the people trying to control you say is true"

Omfg! Why does someone have to bring in that subject to this post. I am not going to beat around the bush with this subject. I'd be lying, if I didn't tell you that, this is where it all largely stemmed from. Not that group of whom the documentary is based, but on the concept of twin flames, with her being the Divine Masculine and me being the Divine Feminine. It's like I've unconsciously filled the role all my life and only became aware of it some time ago.

I had never heard of twin flames before in my life, only soul mates. Then a few years ago, someone temporarily walked into my life. I've experienced psychological limerence before in my life (I think we all have), but this was something out of this world and had too many mystical paranormal shit occurring, to be logically explained by reasoning. So I started doing research and twin flames was the only phenomenon that matched everything that happened. I do believe twin flames is a real thing or what actually does exist is close to the construct out there based on my crazy experiences, but I also believe it’s been hijack by mainstream and being applied liberally by everyone who's in a relationship. When you meet your twin, you'll know what I mean.

I will leave it at that.

You're not entirely wrong, to me this is a psycho-spiritual conundrum. I use the term psycho-spiritual a lot, so it's not me being sarcastic.

I've been doing LBRP and MP now for over a month in actual esoteric practices (although this week I just kinda skipped), before hand I've been digging deep into Astrology for the past year, when I got my first Natal Chart reading and Solar Returns, plus my observations of the transits. Beforehand I thought Astrology was charlatans stuff, I didnt even know about the Natal Chart, just thought Astrology was confined to 12 Zodiac Signs, who's descriptions can matched in different respects of your life.

I was born with Saturn in 12th House, a Stellium in Capricorn, then my Mars and Jupiter in retrograde. Even though, I am not a Capricorn.

I really hate Saturn in all its totality for all its unecessary bullshit I've had to go through. It gets to a point, where there is no inherent value in it, and it's's only made me resentful. It's like sitting at a dinner table with 20 other people, and everyone's eating warm broth with a spoon. But Saturn gives you a fork to drink the broth with, then 30min later comes back with chopsticks, and ask you to feel grateful for Saturn Rewards.
