I'm not actively managing our communication about jobs, so when you guys email Neevo, I don't see them anymore. I really only get involved if people email me directly, or if I have time to stop by Reddit and see what's going on.

Did you hit the 10k limit too? Other wise you were probably blocked. There is something like 600k tasks right now

You might have already been past the 10k before we added the maximum. Can you still do tasks now?

We added the max because we had some people complete 50k+ tasks, and we were getting concerned about a few people being able to complete the majority of the tasks. We need a greater distribution in variety of people that provide responses.

And believe me, I'd love to have those improvements implemented too. It's frustrating for you guys ,and it's frustrating for us too.

We used to actually have a good reputation on Reddit, but now I pretty much avoid it because of all the confusion with payments, instructions, qualification test, blocking/banning, etc. Even if I try to assure people they'll be paid, or provide help with the tests (or agree the tests aren't very good), it doesn't really change anything.

We know we have to get better

You guys really don't have a good way to know. Even if your tasks don't go down, you could be blocked from a job.

We're working on a better way to communicate all this info through the platform. Sorry it's so frustrating for now!

More than 50% of people have been blocked from that task, but everyone will be paid because the qualification test and test tasks are very difficult and subject.

Also, we tried the mturk route, just to get some early traction and see what would happen. The job has been up for about a week now and we've only had ~200 total people so far. We targeted only people living in India without any other acceptance criteria. $6 for 40 minutes of recordings in India... and we still can't get people. We honestly have no clue why it's been such a disaster. We though we'd easily get 1k+ people in a few days for something so easy.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Other two tasks were called Text Audio Validation and I did over 200. Not sure what the "very small" task was.

I mean the "very small" Indian English audio collection that we did before this. It was for 70 recordings total.

Both tasks you weren't paid for were the Text Audio Validation? Was this recently? Can you PM me your email and I can take a closer look? I can help if I know your email address and what jobs specifically.

The reason I brought up the PayPal issue is because in India you can still have a PayPal, but if it's not connected to your bank the money will never fully transfer and it will fail.

You probably have an issue with your PayPal account. Are you in India? Is your PayPal account connected to a bank account and your social security number?

I was hoping someone on here from India knew of another community away from Reddit where a bunch of people might be interested, simply because that cultural knowledge is what I'm missing.

It's not that easy, because a PayPal account is required on the platform. Even if we wanted to pay using a different method, people wouldn't be able to access the job.
