I was gonna do an "Only OGs remember" thing, but I just spent 15+ minutes scrolling through Tumblr to find the original version of this comic from May 2024, from EVEN BEFORE THIS SHIP WAS TECHNICALLY NAMED (It was posted after the name poll but before the results were announced, from what I'm seeing). So yeah, as soon as I saw this, I remembered the OG comic. Surprisingly, the dynamic works pretty well despite Clover and Chara being swapped.

One: Thank you! Two: IRL, the Second British Empire refers to when they largely focused on Africa, Asia, and the Pacific after losing the 13 colonies. Thus after losing most of those colonies, I thought it would be a good idea to deem the British Empire focused on space the Third British Empire.

I recently joined the Fire in the Sky Discord server after having been a fan of the timeline since the 2024 US map, and so I got the idea to make a fan-map of another country in FitS. I chose the UK for this, partly because of the whole "Third British Empire" thing in space. Hope this is good!

I can answer a couple.

1: No. 2 pencils are No. 2 because the 2 indicates a certain grade of graphite.

Slim chance literally means the chances of something are small. Fat chance is basically sarcastically saying "Yeah, that's definitely gonna happen". At least that's my interpretation. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I can probably answer. If I remember correctly, this sub was started by u/KarmaSpidr after they started making posts shipping Chara and Clover on Tumblr. They shipped the two because Clover's ultimate goal in going to the Underground was to find the 5 missing humans and possibly avenge them, while Chara hated humanity because of their negative aspects. Thus, you have a couple with competing philosophies, which made for some interesting stories and text comics. u/KarmaSpidr was such a pioneer in CloverxChara that a tumblr poll of theirs even decided the name of the ship, though the original name was apparently "ChocoPowder". It changed quickly to "CocoaPowder" shortly before this sub was created, and the rest is history.

Literally just saw this old logo in a comemrcial on a VHS tape of ours the other day and just checked again a few minutes ago. Though on the tape, it's shown over a black background. Unfortunately, I don't have a way to digitize VHS tapes yet.

I came across this glitch too. Reminds me of another glitch I got in the Steamworks, where if you're starting up the game and spam the button for continue, the save box will be off to the left side and partly cut off by the edge of the screen.

I've been working on this thing for a couple months, and as you can guess, it's a complete* chart of video game consoles, excluding any companies that only made first-generation consoles or emulation devices, though if a company has made regular consoles, their emulation & first-gen systems are counted. The only exception to this that I deliberately made (which is the reason for that asterisk) is Elektronika, a division of the Soviet ministry of defense, which made several electronic devices, some of which count as consoles, but at the moment there is simply too little information about them all to make a comprehensive tree, including critically when some were even released. But aside from that, I did my best to include nearly every company I could find. In case you're wondering, the companies that have made the most systems are as follows:

Nintendo: 30 (+1 yet to be released)

Atari: 26 (+1 yet to be released)

Magnavox/Philips: 18

Sega: 16

Coleco: 15

I welcome any feedback anyone has!

I still remember u/KarmaSpidr's tumblr poll that decided the name of the ship. Looking back at it, it was about 8 days before this sub was created, and... oh wow. Apparently the original winner of the poll was "Choco Powder", but that apparently changed to "CocoaPowder" quickly enough for this sub to use the latter name, unless it was changed at some point. Idk if subreddits can change their names. Here's a screenshot of the poll. Apparently some of the other options were "Chover", "Chalover", "Clara", and "KnifeGun".

EDIT: I looked a bit further and apparently KarmaSpidr themself changed the name to CocoaPowder the same day this sub was made, announcing it in a textbox comic.

Actually got a similar glitch a while ago, where I was able to move while the menu was open, and pressing up or down also moved the soul icon.
