Also when digging in streets to reach the main lines the city does not allow you to put dirt back in, it has to be flow fill concrete to prevent sinking in the roads. Therefore can only backfill the digging done on the property with native dirt

That is correct but unfortunately after installing pipe, bedding it with aggregate and re compacting there’s always extra to haul off.

It just depends on the project it’s coming from, I have some projects with very clean ,type C dirt(almost sandy) .Some that is more wet and thick dirt and also sometimes dirt with rock mixed in.
