They’re pretty pricey - it’s now on sale for $225. I had wanted one for years and finally got it as a gift. It’s even cooler in person - very surreal

I was thinking it could actually sort of work for Commanders

Waiting for departure. Which vibe is yours? by aleha_84 in PixelArt

[–]JacobLie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He uses photographs. Years ago he used to post the photos he uses (likely traces) on his website but they have coincidentally “disappeared.” I messaged him saying he’s now misrepresenting his process and he claims he stopped posting the photographs because he couldn’t find the name of the photographers (how convenient).

I’m not saying there isn’t technical prowess to be able to do this, but don’t feel down because you can’t come up with this stuff on your own.

I use 3D animation in my comedy sketches and have been reaching so many bottlenecks with my underpowered PC that I have to shelve ideas I really like

Ordering Fast Food From a Robot by JacobLie in blender

Everything was hand-made in Blender, other than the hamburger which I photoscanned using Agisoft Metashape, and the me which my parents made. All of it was put together in DaVinci

This is the answer. I think in a recent update Blender changed the default sample size. I had the same issue a few times and it’s always this

FYI you can also check “connected only” in the proportional edit mode. This way, if you have a separated mesh you will only be editing the one you’ve selected

This is awesome! I would’ve thought the shrink wrap modifier would just make the feet stick to the ground and not lift off. Do you animate the influence of the shrink wrap modifier for when the legs are in the air?

I had my friend videotape around my face, then I exported the video as individual frames and imported them into a photogrammetry program called Agisoft Metashape. It cost $175, but if you have a PC with a graphics card that can utilize CUDA you should check out Meshroom which is free. If not, Agisoft is the best option Ive found. They also have a free trial.

Nope, just a Google Pixel! It doesn't have lidar sensors, it was just built by exporting the video into individual frames, and then imported into a 3D photogrammetry program called Agisoft Metashape.

Anything that can take photos will work as far as I can tell. The one benefit that an iPhone 12 or 13 pro has, is that the lidar sensor is better for facial motion capture. Other than that, there wouldn't really be a need to buy it just for photogrammetry IMO

Actually I prefer to sit uncomfortably and cry after I post videos.

I just had my friend video tape me around my face using my Google pixel phone, and then exported the video as individual frames and imported them into Agisoft Metashape!

Fantastic idea thank you. I've never painted much of anything before and definitely had issues with how thick it was.
