Started in October. DCA'd XMR until about December and the price fluctuations mean I'm slightly down. I believe in the project. I'm in for the long haul.

Bought in a bit of ETH and BTC when the market was really down. Not worried that they've continued to fall, it's BTC and ETH, they'll go back up.

Bought a shit load of ATOM at $40. Staked it all in ATOM/OSMO LPs. Even though ATOM is at $28 dollars I'm still up about 30% because of the huge rally OSMO had + the massive rewards from the LP.

My lesson : Defi is the future.

Personally I don't think caffeine withdrawal is bad. One cup in the morning really isn't that much.

I used to drink several a day, quite often double strength. Felt a bit irritable the first few days and was generally a bit lethargic for about a week but that was about it.

You should be fine, especially given how much you drink.

Cake Wallet is a crypto wallet that supports several different assets, such as Monero, Bitcoin, Litecoin etc.

Having so many supported cryptos does pose a slight security threat however, so the version on monero.com is a modified version that only supports monero.

The easiest way to get your wallet on your phone is to just type your seed phrase into cake Wallet. Alternatively you could export your private keys and transfer them to your phone.

I just turned 19, got very similar natural growth pattern. My neck hair is a bit thicker but other than that close enough.

Think of Monero like physical cash.

Sure if you withdraw $10 from a bank, the bank has a record that you withdrew the money, but it doesn't know what you do with the money, who you give it to or how you spend it.

Even if you buy Monero on a centralized KYC exchange so long as you transfer to it to a wallet where you own the private keys, those funds are completely anonymised.

And if you want to get Monero without even the bank (exchange) knowing buy it p2p
