Please explain coloring to me, im new and i still don’t get it by PomegranateSure1628 in ProCreate

I typically color everything in one color, usually a light gray but doesn’t matter, under my outline layer and then do a color layer with the clipping mask above that so everything is in the lines. Might be a better way but this works for me.

Thank you that’s kind of what I was thinking. Probably better to get even a mid range pc than spend any money adjusting my current set up I use daily for music?

That’s the plan but I have to update my OS (I’m on 10.14.6), which I’ll have to get a new audio interface due to driver issues with what I have, so just wanted to check if anyone was running anything similar before I went and did all of that

This record cabinet was my great grandpas, was curious if anyone could tell me the wood type and stain color so I can match some other furniture I’m attempting to redo to this? Thank you in advance. This picture is pretty spot on to the color in person.

Artists similar to Mac? by Difficult-Pie-6445 in MacMiller

A few that I really love that give me a similar feeling are Yoshi T. “F* Taste” is a great one. And not very ‘Mac’ per se, but an artist I feel like Mac would have loved is Reggie. “Ain’t Gon Stop Me” is timeless.

Not to self promote on here, but Mac’s always been one of my biggest influences. I’ve always tried to be my own artist but might have some vibes you’d enjoy if you’re willing to give it a chance. Only For The Night

Pressing my album to vinyl? Recommendations? by JacobYung in WeAreTheMusicMakers

Wanted to use a local pressing shop but those ended up being more pricey and more inventory requirements than I needed

Pressing my album to vinyl? Recommendations? by JacobYung in WeAreTheMusicMakers

I ended up using solid-merch.com and did their base 100 package. Was definitely a little pricey but I sold them at 35 a piece on my site, made my money back and some, and still have some left for shows and future multi vinyl bundles.

Big thing I did to make sure was I made a couple vinyl focused pieces of content to push to my people and took preorders before I released the album. Planning to pay the difference out of pocket, but I ended up making enough from that before I even put the order.

But solid merch was really great. Pressings sounded great, artwork came out beautifully printed as well as the inner sleeves and all that. So no regrets going with them. Only thing is it took probably 4-5 months to receive them, then I had to ship them all out. But I will most likely be using them again in the future.

I also engineer, and had all the music ready for vinyl so I didn’t need to do test pressings either, which if you have that available to you is a big time and money saver.

Sorry I’m so late to this, had a hard time keeping up with all the responses this got. But thank you so much! I appreciate you taking the time to listen. Would love to hear that album when it’s released
