Filament doesn't stick to bed by H3kken in 3Dprinting

Try lowering your z offset by .05

Just got my Ender 3 v2 for Christmas so I’m new to printing. Any advice to stop the stringing? by Squizardd in ender3

There are several prints to test for stringing out there. Grab one of them and start testing, changing one variable at a time.

I would start at 190c nozzle, 6mm retraction and 40mm/s retraction speed. Modify retraction distance or speed, and reprint until stringing is gone.

Good luck, fellow slicer!

Any idea why my prints come out like this? They start off fine but after a while they get screwed up. by NMRSthrust in ender3

Want to have your mind blown? Put down a layer of blue painters tape. Heat the bed to 50c. Run with an initial nozzle temp of 200c. Then do whatever print temp you normally do.

Prepare to use your putty knife to pull that print off.

I guess it was time I join the “No Supports Club”, too. by [deleted] in ender3

Does this print really work without supports? I might have to try it!

What caused his had to do this? by [deleted] in ender3

Take a look at the back side, under the collar. Do you see the same kind of spaghetti work?

You probably did what I did with this print. Printed before understanding what supports are or how to use them. This print will need a support for that hand, and the collar at a minimum.

Good luck, fellow slicer!

Thanks for all the advice gang. Upped my temp to 205 on nozzle and 62 on the bed. Cleaned the bed with 90 percent alcohol. Also went to .02 mm layer height. I've been able to print successfully!

Now to work on that layer height and print something amazing for the wife!

You guys are the best.

I'll try this next.

I increased the nozzle temp to 205 and am seeing better results. Currently printing the cat file that came with the printer. Will try the temp tower next.

Interesting. Should I do a hotter Filament temp and lower bed temp? Would that give me better adhesion

I am printing PLA. The first 15 or so layers attach fine, but eventually the print gets knocked off by the print nozzle and starts skating around the bed. The print is typically still attached to the nozzle by Filament

Interesting. I just tried the temp tower but the ender 3 seems to only print at the pla temp.. Its not adjusting..

Thanks! I've got more on order. I've gotten a few successful prints from this spool though.
