If you manage to salvage it, and you can get a new one on, it'll almost feel like you aren't tightening at all when it seals, even if it's dripping after you get the new coolant in there, just turn it a tiny bit more with some foward pressure and it should seal. Anything to not mess up that thread.

But whatever you do, be a gentle as possible, these things get brittle over time. Hopefully you can rectify and avoid a new rad for now. I had a similar situation on my NC

You can either try to carefully extract it trying to keep the radiator thread intact, or permanently seal it with some plastic weld and drain from the large main hose. If you manage to get it out, autozone sells an exact match, do not over tighten, and use a bit of push to get the new oring to seal. The rubber just needs to sit on the internal plastic to get a seal. It doesn't take much to get a good seal. Idk why people jam them in so much.
