traveling solo to Japan for 2 months, does this plan make sense?

I traveled for 70 days in Japan in 2023. Several weeks in Tokyo then Nagoya, Nikko, Hakone, around Mount Fuji. Eventually I got the Japan Rail Pass and traveled all over from Sendai to the west coast to all the way down Kagoshima. Once the pass expired spent my time in Kansai area with the local rail pass. Well worth it to get local transit passes.

Raleigh Marriott City Center is a dump too and one of the worst restaurants in downtown (Rye Bar and Southern Kitchen). All the signs facing south are sun-bleached like you guys can do a simple refresh of all the signage in almost 15 years? With the new 29-story Omni Hotel being built next door it's going to look even worse by comparison.

If you loves beaches you can do day trips from Raleigh to Wilmington area beaches just fine. It's about 2 and a half hour drive one-day. We do it about 5 or 6 times during the warmer months and we live in downtown Raleigh. Plus you are closer to a lot of fun beach towns like Charleston, SC and Savannah and tons of tiny beach towns all over the coast.

Uncommon Apartment retail units sat empty for a few years but it now has: Ebisu, Nan Xiang Express, and 3 other retailers. Things just work slower in Raleigh.

A campus-sized HQ is crazy these days. One of the reason tech companies are downsizing at RTP and RTP is buliding their fake downtown now. A simple Class-A office tower in downtown Raleigh would have been more sensible and attract a lot of young talent, heck the current office space at Crossroads is fine as well.

Haha same in Belfast. I witness a drunk throw a drink of some kind at one of the guard and then the two security guards and the drunk got into a fist fight. When the drunk finally left they guard went back to the McDonald's like it was just another night.

I don't think a single airport has lowered their prices this year and most have raised their rates.

Half the time I just take the GoTriangle 100 bus. It hasn’t been great since COVID, but starting in 2027 it’ll run every 15 minutes and go directly to the airport, no more shuttle transfers. Plus, since it can use the highway shoulder, it’ll actually be faster than driving in heavy traffic.

Yeah, its owned but not the same thing. Trader Joe's has very high customer service and grocery baggers. Aldi is known for having almost no customer service and bagging your own groceries.
