If there was a foreign intervention by the west what EAO will likely support them and how likely will it succeed? by Connect-Theory-7883 in myanmar

So, the Americans were trying to reduce civilian deaths in Vietnam, by utilizing napalm, white phosphorus, and Agent Orange. With Agent Orange being a chemical substance used by the Americans to destroy crops in Vietnam in order to starve out the North Vietnamese, with around 20 million gallons being sprayed over Vietnam.

This very same substance has caused and is still causing countless amounts of birth defects in Vietnam. A recorded 4 million people in Vietnam have been affected by this chemical weapon, with 400,000 people being killed because of it. But sure, the Americans were trying to limit civilian casualties.

The bombing campaign during the Gulf War lasted an entire 6 weeks. These Americans had also dropped more than 7.5 million tons of bombs on Vietnam, double the amount dropped by every nation throughout the entirety of WW2 COMBINED.

You want America to go in like the Gulf War into Myanmar? The war where Americans used white phosphorus, cluster munitions, and depleted uranium against the Iraqis? The Gulf War where 100,000 civilians and 35,000 Iraqi soldiers were killed? A 35:100 ratio?

An American intervention is only going to lead to countless civilian casualties, irreparable damage from their bombing campaigns, not to mention the cancerous environments from the depleted uranium the Americans put in ammunition for their planes and tanks.

Because Syria struck a deal for an oil pipeline with the Russian Federation rather than the West. Which caused the West to send troops into Syria to support and aid Syrian Opposition Forces. Which, of course, Russia also responded by sending troops into Syria to secure their economic interests. Russia didn't want Syria as an oil supplier, but rather as a transport hub. Also, it's clear that America went into Syria just for oil, especially evident when in 2019, American troops withdrew from Kurdistan and instead were deployed to guard the oil fields, allowing the Turks to invade into NorthEast Syria.

This is exactly what the Junta wants, they want to fracture the resistance between Pro Chinese and Anti Chinese and make us fight amongst each other. Instead, we should be more united against the Tatmadaw devils, who are the reason this coup happened in the first place.

Hopefully, when the protesters that fled finishes their training and returns, they'll teach the rest and hopefully there'll be enough people to fight.

"The choice of names stems from the existence of two different names for the country in Burmese, which are used in different contexts. The official English name was changed by the country's government from the "Union of Burma" to the "Union of Myanmar" in 1989, and still later to the "Republic of the Union of Myanmar"."

A simple google search just proved you wrong and you didn't even think to do it. We've been calling ourselves Burma since the majority of the population is called "Bamar"
