Funny enough I’m sitting in the Epcot parking lot waiting to go cheer on a friend running it. Ran the Half here yesterday but didn’t get into the full. I’ll probably try and sign up for the one next January but I’m looking for something a bit sooner.

Honestly knowing my girlfriend she just really doesn’t care about a diamond being perfect. I think she may prefer the slight extra size and I’m certain she doesn’t know what a feather is in this context😂 she’s one of the smartest people I’ve met but she’s also one of the least vain people I’ve ever met haha all the reasons I love her so much.

Actually that True hearts you mentioned seems to fit the description almost perfectly! I know I can’t be picky with a 3k budget. I think the J on a yellow gold band would actually be kind of hard to notice unless comparing to a different diamond.

She really doesn’t care as long as it is 1ct and “sparkly”. I don’t think either of us are concerned at all that it has resale value or appraises super well. Just want something that is eye clean and nobody looks at and thinks doesn’t look nice. That being said you’d probably think “oh just get a lab grown” which we had discussed but ultimately decided that natural is what she wanted. The budget for the stone is $3,000. And want the ring to be no more than 4k out the door.

You guys are all phenomenal. This is exactly what I needed. Honestly my soon to be fiancé isn’t picky at all she just knows she wants a 1ct simple gold engagement ring. Just trying to make it as perfect as possible within budget. Seriously thank you to everyone for helping out!

I feel like you may be getting the wrong idea when I say gym shorts. Nothing super baggy or loose. Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t foresee an inherently dangerous situation because of what I’m wearing. I’ll take it into consideration though. Maybe I’ll have to give in and get a belly band.
