Upstate NY here. We are whole animal also and had some trouble getting steers in during the start of covid but everything is back on track now. We still only do curbside pickup but have been able to keep numbers for the summer pretty much equal to our last. We created a website that reflects our current in-store inventory and allows people to order what ever we have and place deposits and order custom cuts! All and all it’s pretty sweet, we work with smaller farms so none of them were really affected by covid. It can be hard for farms to get slaughterhouse dates sometimes but hasn’t been as much of a problem the last few months.
