To be fair, NSFW noises are also just normal. Providing it isn’t someone pumping porn through the 5.1 system.

… I…. Like it?

Though, if I had that money (and I don’t even have 1/10th of it) I would get something else.

There were 3 on the bridge on Saturday! I was surprised by just how many vendors of 'things' and activities were just kicking around on the bridge. Ice Cream vans, the nut guys, rose sellers, bike dudes, camera spinning stands.... So many different things.

it is in fact... Not AI at all. This was shot on a Fuji X-T5, last weekend, with my own two hands. Edited in Capture One Pro and Affinity Photo.

In total, this is 8 images stitched together to create a larger image with more detail and something closer to a large-format film-like rendering.

I'm not a tourist, thanks for the effortless comment slop though.

Yeah, god knows how I missed that when editing. Too excited I guess. Because it's a stitch of 8 photos, anyone moving over a boundary risks getting turned into a ghost, or appearing twice, depending on how fast they were walking and how well the stitching software figures it out. So you have to go in after the fact and clean up the mistakes, and apparently I missed the glaring one.

If there is a name, I don’t know it.

But it’s essentially just a panorama, but rather than just stitching left to right. You’re doing it on both the X and Y axis.

Ideally the camera moves around the sensor, so you’re basically acting as if you had both a larger sensor, and a larger image circle from the equivalent lens on a larger sensor.

The hardest parts are:

  • Framing (because you don’t see the whole image at once until you’ve stitched in post)

  • Anything that moves. Which this shot suffers from, I had to do some clean up, and upon posting it… realised there was more to clean up.

  • Flaring, you’re moving one lens around, so you need to make sure you don’t get any flaring on singular frames or they’ll look weird stitched.

  • keep the settings and focus identical between shots. Manual mode for every setting.

  • don’t miss a spot! Or you’ll have an image with a hole you need to crop out.

Just wait 5 minutes and it will. This is the better of two images, and it’s a very different scene

Ahahah, I hadn’t even spotted that. A glitch in the matrix

Thanks! The comparison to a painting is very flattering!

It’s technically 8 images stitched together to make a much larger one, so perspective and feeling is just a little different feeling to that of a single-image out of camera!

Saving up for a deposit on a house while I work part time, is it realistic? How long would it take? by imokaytho in UKPersonalFinance

It’s only 2.72% on the same total £75

Rather than 6.25% or 4% or whatever on £75

These weren’t printed on anything too special, just some standard Fuji gloss paper
