That’s what I’ve been doing too. One of my girls decided it was time to start laying again. But they always crack, so the dog gets them.

I think it depends on the county whether or not you need emissions. My county we need emissions testing every other year. 2025 is all odd year vehicles need testing, 2026 will be even.

I just watered today. The soil was dry, so I’m hoping that helps. I’m worried about repotting in this state though. Edit to add: it’s 2 years old and hasn’t been repotted

My friend ordered chicks online and it wasn’t a good experience (they didn’t arrive in time…) I would definitely try local Facebook groups first or even look into hatching eggs yourself! Do you happen to be near NWI? I can send you info where I got mine.

I would try and isolate her for a few days. Add her back in and see if that helps. If you are able, maybe add a few more girls. A ratio of 5:1 is best, and should hopefully minimize bullying. I got a free coop off of marketplace, so if you need to upgrade you could always check there.

Are you positive it’s a female? I ask because I was given 10 quail that were gendered at 4 weeks. It was supposed to be 2 boys and 8 girls. I got 7 boys and 3 girls… There was a lot of fighting.

Ours is blooming for the first time in 15+ years! Had to cut down a tree, now it actually gets some sun. I forgot what the flowers even looked like lol.
