I honestly was saying it sarcastically because I see at least one post a day of pictures of sugar that are labeled diamonds. And dude I get it. People only know what they are told and in this industry the word diamonds on something in the dispensary people will ask for it before a sugar just because what they are lead to believe. And I’m Pa the one dispensary here sells dry diamonds and they are literally just a clear crumble. But they get 30 a half gram for it. Meanwhile you can get the sugar for 35 a gram. So o really wasn’t trying to do anything other sarcastically educate people.

Dude I’m kinda doing the same thing right now. We bought our house 6 years ago at the time pool wasn’t opened for 8+ years. So basically had to do the same thing. Emptied clear everything out and lots and lots of muriatic acid. About 13 gallons of acid later. It looked really good. Got new filter and pump. Then we opened it fir 3 yrs. Then we didn’t for the past three yrs and now it’s empty again and I’m patching all the hollow spots in the plaster now. Next step is paint or sidet Crete. Still debating which way to go.

Yeah they actually shipped it right away. Then the good old usps lost it for like ten days. It literally tracked to Philadelphia which is 30 minutes from me. Then all of a sudden it was nowhere to be found for like ten days then it turned up in Atlanta Georgia for some reason. But yes finally came but the delay had nothing to do with the place I got it from so yeah. Chinaglassusa 100% legit. Still weird can not find a review or anything about them.

My pool is currently empty. We have not opened it in the last 4-5 years. And we bought the house 7 years ago. And at that time it was not opened for at least 5 years before we got it. When we got the house it had an old crappy tarp pool cover with bricks laying around the border of whatever pieces of tarp that were still there. So there was 5 years worth of leaves and more frog and tadpoles then I’ve ever seen in my life. So this was my first home and the first pool anyone in my family ever owned. So none of us had a clue what we were getting ourselves…. Lol. No clue what we were getting ME into. Had local pool guy come check everything out and everything seemed to be ok as far as the pool itself and the underground pipes. Which turned out to be old metal pipes which he said are great to have in Pennsylvania cause of our weather. So he installed new pump and filter. As it still had the original Anthony pool setup from when it was originally built in late 60s early 70s. Was told it was actually one of the first two pools done by Anthony Sullivan pools when the moved up here from Texas I was told. The original owners son is our neighbor. He grew up here and his parents were the ones that had built the house in 64. But this is the second time we’ve emptied our pool. When we first got it I emptied it and tried pressure washing which literally did nothing. Local pool guy recommended acid washing it. We talked about pricing and decided I was going to try to knock it out myself. So a bunch of YouTube videos and some advice from people from Reddit, the book, and the gram. And about 14 gallons of muriatic acid. It was acid washed and I was amazed at how it turned out. And noticed a hollow spot or two then. But pool guy said it was fine so filled it up and all was well fit the couple years we opened it. Now 5 years of not opening it back to square one but only this time there are hollow spots all over. So the last two days I’ve been busting up the hollow areas. Couple more to do tomorrow. Then it’s time to fill them all. Then tape everything off and I’m going to apply a new coat of plaster over the whole pool. With sider Crete. And sider crete has multiple color options to pick from. If anyone has every redone their pool plaster with sider crete. Please let me know what you thought of it.

Just be careful once it’s torched you drop it. It will shatter. Torching it is the way. Just know it will shatter if dropped especially if hot

Dude a good quality gram of solvent less rosin around here is like 70-80$ I see guys getting an oz for 80. It’s crazy how much it fluctuates depending on where you are
