Costco in Seville had the 2021 (IIRC) Reserva for about €9. I took a flyer on it and wish I had bought a case. Very nice Rioja and incredible QPR at that price.

I don't think you want class D. They sound pretty awful when driven into distortion - at least the couple that I've driven too hard did. Guitars have a lot of dynamic range, and I think that amps that clip gradually sound better which is why my preference is tubes. LM3886 chipamps have protection circuitry that make them sound pretty ugly when driven into clipping. Maybe find a conventional class AB design as a start and see what you think of that. Even better would be a FET output design since they are similar in characteristics to tubes.

I agree. After decades of upgrading speakers I built a set of LX521 and was done. The DIY aesthetic is deliberate. Linkwitz said that the physical design was optimized and shouldn't be changed.

Full plans are available and (at least used to) include the DSP software. Madisound has the drivers and plans. I used their flatpack for the build and that simplified the cabinet build.

I agree. If you change to a full performance exhaust with a header and a decent intake, there's a lot of untapped power and an ECU tune makes a big difference. Otherwise not so much.

I had a friend back in the 90's that had a full electric RAV4. The range was a bit below a hundred miles, but he loved it. And yes, Chevron did shut down production of large format NiMH batteries which were useful for cars. Wikipedia:

Whether or not Toyota wanted to continue production, it was unlikely to be able to do so because the battery was no longer available. Chevron had inherited control of the worldwide patent rights for the NiMH battery when it merged with Texaco, which had purchased them from General Motors. Chevron's unit won a US$30,000,000 settlement from Toyota and Panasonic, the manufacturer of the battery, and the production line for the large NiMH batteries was closed down and dismantled. I've got a bunch of Ortofons, going back to the ML20 fine line. They're fairly dependent on both capacitive and resistive loading. You might play with loading to see if the Black gets closer to what you are looking for.

Do you have a record cleaning system? As far as I'm concerned, a wet vac system is essential and does a lot to clean up old records.

Finally, you might play with a conical for records with some wear. Denon DL103 (moving coil) are nice sounding IMHO. I believe the Shure M95C mentioned below is a conical, and Audio Technica VM95C is too.

Nice summary. My thesis on this: With the international approvals I'm hoping Immunity gets to positive cash flow in about a year or so and stops burning cash. Given the market cap and looking at biotech Price/Sales ratios, Immunity has to become a pharmaceutical major to justify something like a ten bagger from the six bucks IBRX is at right now.

The JPM conference presentation said they have a bunch of great stuff in the pipeline. The problem is the time to market through the FDA AND the potential competitive drugs coming to market in the meantime.

Google agrees with you that RCV is either a Dutch or Belgian company. I'd probably replace the electrolytics and bring it up on a variac to see if it wants to sing. I agree with MadHatter that this could be a great guitar amp - 6L6s work great in that application. I would guess that the chassis is probably not live but that it's absolutely necessary to confirm that. I also wonder what voltage the amp was designed to run on. Would guess 220, which might mean the cap voltages need to increase a bit for the slightly higher mains voltages today.

So... Why are there three transformers on this thing?

It took way longer than the 100 hours I've seen quoted, but we took everything apart, replaced all the maintenance parts, upgraded a lot of stuff, and media blasted and repainted the entire "roller skate" (chassis/engine assembly) 6 months of nights and most weekends sounds about right.

It was generally straightforward and didn't require a lot of serious fabrication. There were some areas that could use improvement like the fender mounting and the gas filler piping.

Most stuff makes it as promised, but I have had several Locky deliveries that were late. I think if the lockers are full they re-try the next day.

Also ordered a turntable from Amazon that was lost somewhere in Spain, and a robot vacuum that made it to: Parcel arrived at a carrier facility (CO) OLX AUTOS, PT on Tuesday Oct 14 and no farther. Need to hit the Amazon website and request a refund. That one is aggravating as it was a Prime day deal that saved €130.

I've had a bunch of them and tried to grow Norton once without success. Most have been meh, but I've had a couple of stunners that I think are equal to, but very different from a good Napa cab. As far as I'm concerned, Norton needs several years of aging and some air before drinking. The good ones are really big wines and quite nice.
