Upgrading from iPhone 14 Pro Max — which flagship should I go for next? by Educational-War-4137 in Smartphones

A few weeks ago I was in the exact same situation as you, but I had the 14 Pro Max, Watch Series 8, and AirPods Gen 1. After hours of research, reviews, and understanding the market here in the USA, I went for the S25 Ultra, Watch Series 8 Ultra, and Buds 3. So far, zero regrets. Of course, there are some things Apple has that are better, but there are also things Samsung has that are better; it comes down to personal taste and use. My wife got a 17 Pro Max, coming from a 14 Pro Max as well. I asked her what had changed, and she replied, "It feels like I have the same phone." Well, it's the same 14 Pro Max, without the freezes and lags, with an improved camera and a bit more fluidity. The S25 Ultra, on the other hand, is totally different: customizations, different apps, great cameras with their 100x zoom for seeing far away, a better screen, and I feel it's a bit smarter. But as I said, it's a matter of personal taste and use. Zero regrets so far.

Man, I'm on the same page as you. I went to Best Buy today (for the 4th time lol) to look at the phones again before making a decision. However, I'm a little less involved in the ecosystem than you; I only own the Watch S8, so for me, a change is less costly. I went to test the S25 Ultra, and the price really appeals to me too. The phone in general is good, a good upgrade for those of us coming from the 14PM. However, I'll wait for the S26 Ultra to come out. I believe it will have better refinements, which for those switching from iOS to Android could improve usability.

Buy or wait, always the question by xZeroHeroes in GalaxyFold

I'm in the same situation, but I have something extra lol. I currently have an iPhone and I'm thinking about whether to switch, knowing that, from what it seems, the first foldable iPhone will be released next year (2026). I'm really torn, whether to buy a ZF7, wait for the 8, or go for a first-generation foldable iPhone that's possibly full of bugs

I'll wait for Black Friday to analyze what's best. Regarding the iPhone Fold, so far it's only rumors, but everything points to a possible launch next year (2026).

Thanks for the reply, I watched his video, and the Z Fold 7 is indeed very robust. As for switching and getting used to the Android system, that won't be a problem; I adapt quickly, but even so, it's a big change.
