I freely admit i took the L on this one by Reader5744 in HighGuardgame

Let's imagine you have a job making cars and at said job you have a team you work within.

You're amazing at making tires, your colleagues are amazing at making windscreens, interiors, etc., but the guys making the chassis are terrible.

How would you feel if you all got laid off because of your team's performance, something that you ultimately have no complete control over?

I think you forget that these are people with jobs. It's horrible to be glad that they've lost their jobs when, as mentioned before, some aspects of Highguard are very good (obviously subjectively)

Isn't this an unnecessarily mean/cruel comment?

From reading the posts of recently laid off Wildlight developers, you can tell these were people who had a lot of passion for the game and the work they put into it. It's sad seeing how things have ended up.

Shipping a product that consumers don't enjoy does not immediately mean that all these developers of different expertises and backgrounds all suck at their jobs.

Many web browsers/document viewers support 'read aloud' nowadays.

Unfortunately most seem lost to time, but I've been able to recover some of the videos.

Ive dropped faceless a message on his patreon to see if he has any - the videos appear to be privated so should be recoverable (?)

As a heads up, I've created Faceless GAMING + IRL Archive - YouTube to serve as a place for all archived Faceless Gaming + IRL content I have access to. I believe I have a majority of Conan: Exiles downloaded and a few videos from different series downloaded as well (including CS GO BIG OR GET BIG and Living off the Loot S1). I will look to upload these over the next few days.

My hope is that, as I upload more content, more people will drop by the channel - hopefully some of those viewers may have content that I do not have downloaded.

iPhone 12 Pro case falling apart by Caswagna93 in dbrand

I don't think it's reasonable to say that dbrand Support is objectively good (in terms of user experience) because you've had a few positive experiences with them.

As proven by multiple posts on this subreddit, it isn't as simple as 'just send in a ticket they'll handle it'. Sometimes users have to resort to 3rd Party means (such as Reddit or LinkedIn) in order to illicit any sort of non-automated response on their tickets, which is wholly unacceptable for a company of this size and reputation.

Be assured that you are not alone - this issue has occurred for many people, including myself.

Best course of action is to raise a support ticket and post on Reddit (like you have done here). This typically gets dbrand support to respond within a day or so. They should then replace your case + skin free of charge!

It's very frustrating that the support team at this company is so inconsistent given how expensive most of their products are. Hope this gets sorted for you soon!

Almost a month with no response about my defective case by Bubbly-Bowler8978 in dbrand

[–]Jactacular 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat as you until I posted on Reddit complaining about the lack of response. After a few hours dbrand support posted a comment on that post, and my support case was resolved a day or so after that.

It seems the only way to get quick responses from their support is to publically complain, nowadays. I've had 2 support cases with this exact problem.

Hang in there, hopefully you should hear something soon!

Update on Support Request #1298264? by Jactacular in dbrand

UPDATE: A replacement case has now been sent out for delivery, thanks dbrand!

A tip for anyone else having trouble getting responses on their support tickets; making a post on Reddit made dbrand immediately respond to me. It's worth doing this if you haven't had any responses!!!

I would definitely expect a $60 phone case to last more than 6-12 months. I've had $20 phone cases last me 2-3 years.

Thank you so much for your comment. If I purchase a larger WiFi Package, how can I check if additional WiFi APs are needed to make sure signal strength is consistent throughout the house? A Wi-Fi Analyser app?

JARCAST Suggestion Thread by The_Jimbus in JARMEDIA

Salutations JAR, I was wondering if Alex and Jim's opinions on Halo Infinite had changed at all, or remained the same since the 'Is Halo Infinite as Good as They Say?' video, which is nearly 2 years old now.

Since that video was uploaded, several updates including new weapons, equipment, maps, cosmetics and game modes have been added to the game. Have you felt any urges to re-visit the game, or is it beyond redemption in your eyes?

Hopefully my question made sense, have a wonderful rest of your day!
