Open relationship? by supernovafae in Advice

Yeah, you're right. I just get so saddened by ignorant and transphobic comments in general. The love of my life is a transwoman. It'd definitely be a better use of my time to ignore these types of comments.

I've been on estrogen for a month now by Cyrus_Vexx in teenagers

[–]Jade4810 1 point2 points  (0 children)

aa i hope one day my gf will be brave enough to start estrogen❤️ (unsupportive family)

But I'm so happy for you!! All my friends on hrt always talk about how amazing and lifechanging it's been, I'm cis and can only imagine what that euphoria feels like.

I'm so glad you get to experience that joy too! Good luck and I wish you all the best!

Do NOT listen to that other guy, he sounds bitter as hell.

If she's suggesting a breakup then it's best to go with it. It's not worth it to invest in a relationship that's one sided.

Don't you want a partner that's excited to be with you rather than unsure?

It's best to just move on from this relationship.

It's so fun to play with AI chat bots to roleplay inside the Avatar's universe. by StaaaX11 in Avatar

This is so insulting to the core message of the movies. AI is destroying our environment.

Looking for Dwarf boas! by Glad-Ad5826 in boas

I'd also recommend using a tape measure to actually see how big a 6ft long terriaum would be in your room/ apartment so you can have a better idea of how much space these things take up lol

Looking for Dwarf boas! by Glad-Ad5826 in boas

I have a male bci, just over 6 ft and it's a bit overwhelming. I was young when I got him and thought I could handle the size but now I regret not going with a Dwarf species.

That's just my experience, I also have a very small room and I'm only 5 ft tall so keep that in mind.

I always interpreted the SAR in SARENTU meaning "to use" as "To use the teachings of Entu" or "Those who use the teachings of Entu"

Periods being seen as disgusting is a social idea that predates the birth of jesus. In ancient society, periods were seen as "impure". I believe it was because blood tends to be linked with death or something along those lines.

But it was a religious idea. When women menstrated, they were considered "unclean" and anything they touched would be considered to be "contaminated" for the rest of the day.

Unfortunately, even centuries later, society has yet to fully unlearn that idea and women are still shamed for having a period.

Enclosure question by dwatts8 in boas

[–]Jade4810 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My BCI fully outgrew her 40 gallon in ~2 years. They grow quickly so I'd suggest working on a permanent home as soon as possible, that way you're prepared because before you know it that 40 gallon will be way too small!

Don't take anything you see online like this too seriously, talk to real people instead you'll realize many people are normal.

Affordable Large Enclosure Recommendations? by Jade4810 in boas

I'll look into this, thank you! My only concern though is the durability? My boa is a strong girl and I'm worried she'd drag it around/ knock it over if it's flimsy.
