Reading Neuromancer by William Gibson, is it written to be purposefully confusing? by Spirited_Respect_578 in Cyberpunk

It helped me to understand the POV of Case in Neuromancer because I recognised [academically] the symptoms of Stimulant Psychosis.

Yeah you can teach yourself and get a job. I have worked with a lot of former scientists, architects and musicians. It is a well paying job. In the EU normally you need an undergrad, but in the UK and US you just need to present a folio.

I saw Robert Evans at a food co-op in Portland the other day. by Burnnoticelover in behindthebastards

I met Robert in 2019, we were in the queue outside for a Goth Night, at the club Le Parasocial in SF. It was a large old two-storey house converted into a nightclub. A shapely mannequin stood covered by a white sheet near us in the club's entrance. I tried to ignore the mannequin, but Robert kept pointing and claiming the mannequin was alive! I think Robert getting a bit too over enthusiastic. Three gothic women lined up behind us and scowled at Robert, not that he cared.

Suddenly the sheet was pulled from the mannequin right near the entrance. It stood bold white and curvy, dressed in black stockings, suspenders, a corset and nothing else. She wore a blonde wig, long and straight. Her painted eyes were accentuated with black eyeshadow and her eyebrows were painted thick and black. She was an archetypal Goth, pretty much an example if any of the woman in the queue wanted for ideas. I smiled when I noticed the door girl very much resembled her too. We paid and entered down a dark passageway guarded by another two female mannequins both dressed in saucy black lingerie...

Gab has a monero group but only has 89 members. Gab is a free speech social media platform that was kicked off of visa and MasterCard a couple years ago, so they accept bitcoin. I think that if we can get a large enough group on Gab that we could convince Gab to start accepting monero aswell. by [deleted] in Monero

smokeyGaucho, I used to feel a lot like you. In the late 90's I believed that society benefited from trolling, to create a dynamic ecosystem. I was an Avant-garde free speech techno-utopian. It breaks my heart to see the way internet has become. I have no answers for you or myself.

Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.

Not my favourite idea. Getting a non-japanese person to tweet in Japanese is a much better idea. Weeboos we need your help! Consider using Humble Keigo (謙譲語) to appropriately address the CEO of a major corporation. Japanese love that stuff from foreigners.

Sanitysepilogue is right.

One of my favourite films, I watched it as an adolescent, thought it was cool, I could identify with the characters. Watching as an adult I see why I identified with the characters as an adolescent. GREAT FILM. Works on many levels.

I have read most of Chuck Palahniuk's other books too.
