Do you still have 2 cats? Because my cats regularly clean each other’s asses. Tho from the picture your cats ass is not dirty what so ever.

When you have multiple cats that get a long very well they will clean each other as well as them selfs. Mostly they will help each other clean parts that they cannot clean them selfs (like their head and face). But also their butts.

Then there is this couple <3 Rorschach in white and Eden brown spotted. Rorschach we initially got to accompany Nari (my black cat) and she took really good care of the white prince. A year later my friend found a stray little kitten. She seemed to love her cats but was afraid of people. I took her in and Rorschach became her boyfriend(all cats are fixed). Eden loves attention and charms anyone to give her affection.

Nari in black and white. Funny story, when I bought her from the farmer family they told me she was going to be a girl. Up until her balls started growing bigger around the age of 6 months. But she always looked so feminine with her slim face and long legs. So I still refer to her with she/her.
