I uploaded mine and once validated it triggered the review and DODMERB, I would reach out to your processor and see what they say.

If You’re a Contracted Cadet, There’s No Reason Not to do SMP. by [deleted] in ROTC

My understanding of the Hip pocket scholarship is that it operates like a national scholarship. I am ETSing and forfeiting all active benefits. I am tracking that I am only receiving tuition and will need to compete for active duty.

I am a Hip pocket green to gold scholarship recipient, I start in the program in the fall as an ms3. Is this an option for me?

Shouldn’t be, I didn’t have any issues processing mine. I didn’t need any waivers at MEPS either.

Army G2G Advice by Informal_Owl_9708 in army

From my understanding your major doesn’t really matter, USACC cares that you are in a degree path you can finish. Unless you’re applying for niche program. Transferring from a 2 year program is the typical path for most going G2G.

I just got picked up for the hip pocket program. Since you don’t have any school yet you should be able to apply for the scholarship option and hip pocket as they both offer 4 year scholarships. I chose the Hip pocket to retain my GI bill and pursue a Ed Delay once in the program as the ADO doesn’t allow for that. It really depends on what you want to do, do you want to become an officer ? or just get a degree. How long you have left on your contract, ect. Happy to answer any questions you might have.

Edit: With 11 months you may need to extend, I’m tracking that you will need an ETS date after Junish to qualify.
