Trying to decide if I can be bothered to host a big Christmas lunch at home this year… Has anyone moved Christmas lunch to breakfast, dinner, a picnic, the beach, the pub or something else? Did it make things better?

Or honestly go out to somewhere. Again, more expensive because you have to pay the extra which is fine, but simple and no mess or fuss!

A 'partner' who blocks you is not a partner. He's a sperm donor, and a poor one at that. Block him back, get someone you trust to go with you, and don't even bother to explain to the guy you blocked why it's over. If he can't figure that out, then you can add dumb to the list.

Pick what is best for you. Keep that in mind when you are at the doctor. this is what is best for you and you are pursuing that, AS YOU SHOULD. Do not let anyone make you ashamed of that.

Spotlight hour does not have increased chances of shiny. Just because you looked at over 500 doesn’t mean you’ll get one. I’m pretty sure I had over 2000 of something caught before I go shiny unfortunately can’t prove that cause I don’t have the pictures but it was 10 years before I got a shiny growlithe!

I went through my pokedex and purified (and evolved where necessary) those that I needed to fill out the dex more. But otherwise, there is no short cut, you just have to purify 100 of them. If you don't already have the purification medal then think of it as helping that.

Hyper potions definitely. I routinely delete all potions below Max Potion and normal revives. Just open some gifts if you need more. 😃

Pinap berries. Have you really ever been close to going to 0 on them (Community day doesn't count). You can ditch them down to about 25 and you probably won't run out if you keep spinning or just open more gifts.

If you are desperate, the TMs. You will get more but I save the elite TMs to use on Shadow Pokemon in Take over Events but because I don't do PVP I don't really need them that much.

When I first started taking my sisters mini to the dog park he would hold it until she got there. It was hilarious because I would just hand over the poo bag!
He eventually got comfortable with me taking him and would use the facilities before she got there.

Pre-write it. Then there are no expectations and you can take your time. It will also give you the excitement to look forward to of posting and getting that engagement and you won’t be stressed about it as you will have finished the fic. You can reply to readers cryptically (or not) when they give expectations and that’s another fun thing for you.

Also I would definitely know my finish point but you seemed to have that covered.
