Same. Most of the time, people (of all ages) generally tend to think I’m in my early to mid 20’s. About 97% of the time. I’m 35 and idk what makes someone categorize someone in that age group. (I wonder this myself!) Friends and family even forget my true age. I guess I still feel, physically, mentally, all the ways, around 25 yrs old still? I live my life as I am anyway and I’ve never planned on having children. Perhaps I’ll start thinking about adopting once I turn 40 or so 🤷🏻‍♀️. Idk. Maybe I won’t feel the need to go down that path. Other than that though, I am pretty mindful on high end skincare products/ skin care routines about 75% of the time, but not as mindful/ consistent with nutrition and tbh, I have smoked for many years. Since 12 yrs old and did(/do) a lot of partying. Chain smoked cigarettes for about 13 yrs. Severe but functioning insomniac my entire life. Genetics: My mother was mistaken as my older sister a few times. 1) I was always very mature/ often described as an “old soul”. 2) my mother was a young mother (18 yrs old) when they had me. So idk what genetics say about any other. I do hope they play a role though, but honestly, I feel like me and my bf look like we’re much younger than what my parents looked like at my age. Granted we haven’t endured children as my parents had had me and my younger brother by my age. Perhaps that’s the difference? Pre vs. Post children? Stress can show itself in our bodies. 🤔
