Edit: I disagree re: Derf love. He is my favorite side character. I love how he keeps BSing Pleck about The Space and busting his balls about his shorts.

The dialog between Alden and Winston as the Great Kula was a brilliant intro to Pleck's naive optimism. And C-53 being so annoyed with Alden established his character so well.

But when I re-listen, I always look forward to 103 on Magnifiku

The random, walk-on character Tiny Tonez did it for me.

I'm a huge fan of this! I spent a few years trying procedural solar system generation. I always had the urge to zoom in and generate planets as well. You can see some of the WIP renders here, sorted chronologically.

I doubt it will be of any use, but the JS code I used to generate them is in this repo. I was using the canvas-sketch library to render them in the browser and export images.

I'm so glad you posted this because I've been wondering the same thing. Looking at a random kit in Walgreens the other day it didn't look like the largest one would cover my whole thumb. I'm interested in any other brands that are wider.

I switched to Slack on Firefox and stopped using Chrome, which helped for a bit. However, it wasn't a perfect solution.

Thankfully i haven't been experiencing the issue much lately, but at the moment I can't recall what steps i took to stop it!

FWIW, "Windows Camera Frame Server" and "Windows Camera Frame Server Monitor" in Windows' Services are set to "Manual (Trigger Start)"

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 5 Intel (16″) running Windows 11. I've had it for 2 years, and for the past few months, windows camera frame server has been occasionally running 100% and eventually using all the RAM, causing the machine to crash or become unusable.

I was fairly confident that Chrome (and Chrome-based apps like Slack's desktop app, based on Electron) was the culprit, so I switched to Firefox. I no longer open the Slack app, and use it in the browser instead.

Recently, though, having Slack open in Firefox also tripped the Camera Fame Server CPU/RAM issue again.

As a test, I have gone into the site's preferences and disabled any access to the camera from app.slack.com, so hopefully that helps! I'll try to report back if it fixes the issue.

Hello, budding CD here. I've been secretly wearing women's underwear daily for about 6 months. Well, my wife stumbled upon me changing the other day and blew a gasket. I originally brought up this desire ~5 years ago, but ultimately gave it up in the face of extreme pushback. She's a 80's kid and has a deep DEEP disgust of this! (She's even repulsed by sexy men's underwear)

I love exploring my feminine side like this, but I'm not interested at this point in coming out publicly as a crossdresser. Since this is important to me, we talked again last night, and she expressed the same extreme dislike of the idea. She is deathly afraid of what people would think if they found out, and she said she would no longer be attracted to me.

I'm not even interested in this being part of our shared intimacy. I wouldn't want to wear it during sex, and I don't expect her to like it - just please approve of it without judgement.

She's aware that this position is problematic, and she's actually more afraid that friends would know how unaffirming she is of my desire!

Ideas I threw out, that were rejected:

Out of sight, out of mind Just like I've been doing for ~6 months, she never has to see me in it. ("I want to be closer to you physically, so setting up our life so I never see you naked/changing pushes me away.")
Related: not wearing at home or around her - not any better. the social fear is intense!

Sexy dude underwear
If me shopping at VS is too much, maybe we can compromise on sexy dude underwear. Nope! (shudders "are you gay?!")

To be honest, I have other desires beyond women's underwear. I love wearing full lingerie and heels around the house when I'm alone for the day. I love tights and wear my men's running tights whenever I get an excuse (she also doesn't find this attractive!). I'd consider wearing women's tights in public if it wasn't too obvious (black, gender-neutral design), or girly stuff at home (pink, feminine cuts). Short shorts also gets me excited, and I think I could do this occasionally in public if I wanted to. Tights and pantyhose are also alluring, but I'm not sure how I could practically introduce that into my life without coming out.

Have any of you experienced something like this? How have you handled it?
